So Gumshoo GX's ability [Search The Premises] has the following text: "Once during your turn (before your attack), you may have your opponent reveal their hand."
My question is if you use this ability, take a look at your opponents cards and then declare an attack that randomly selects cards from your opponents hand and either shuffles/discards, would the opponent have the right to shuffle before you selected cards to discard/shuffle? Or if you announced your attack immediately after using "Search the Premises" would your opponent have to discard that card?
To outline the steps:
1. Player 1 uses "Search the Premises"
2. Player 1 looks at Player 2's hand carefully
3. Player 1 says "I'm good" and immediately declares the attack "Knock off" [Corphish's attack which states: Discard a random card from your opponent's hand.] and selects a particular card that he remembers from his opponents hand.
4. Does player 1 have to give player 2 a time to shuffle in between actions 2 and 3?
