This is the list I used for cities:

Strattegy: Get out Gyarados out as soon as possible and start attacking the opposing pokemon. Use sableyes to set up and you know the rest.

If you can think about things that could make this better, let me know. Thats it! :biggrin:
 
well u could take out 4 volkners philosophy for 1 junk arm, 1 gyradoes, 1 unown q, and 1 uxie x(the uxie is just nice to have)

I think the special dark energy should go... it is fun getting the random and occasional donk but that is not the point of the deck.

-2 special dark
-1 volkners
+ 1 rescue energy
+ 2 warp energy
 
Thank you guys for all your help and ill try out all of them......excpet dropping ALL my volkers. i use them too much. i could see cyclone energy.
also the darks are there because if i donk, i do but then late game, ill want to get a knock out with sableye. its nice to hit a gengar for 50 with a sableye and letting him get knocked out instead of a gyarados.
i will think of all your ideas and try them.
 
4 volkners is waay too much. would drop turns before ssu.....why dialga lvl x!? at the start of cities it was being played for the love of god i hate dialga lvl x in gyrados. just so much fail in it...play a 4th junk arm
 
idk how you played without ssu/rescue or volkners. i could see dropping 2 for something else. and dialga g is in there for vilgar. in cities, i look around and see if i need it and if i dont, i take it out.

if your teching dgx then rescues are not a bad play. ive found rescue energy and combee+seeker are much more reliable. SSU is flippy and a completely wasted card if tails. max seeker is consistent and you dont really need other supporters once your set up anyway so i like it. volkners is terrible IMO. i never used it. always had another supporter to play early game that was better (collector) and between regice and junk arm you dont need to use the discard. plus my hands get big and i usually cant play it at all.
 
i tried to put Volkner's at 3 we tested and it is fine at 2 u have so many ways to refill your hand already and it is not needed at 3

3 rescue energy is enough u can't run 4 way to many energy try out the list and play with it it is a pin point after like weeks of testing it.

i agree that ssu is flippy and can be bad but seeker is just slow as hell and this deck loves speed plus ur odds are better with jumk arm in the deck 2 seeker are fine i started with 4 then went to 3 and ended at 2
 
I am also a city champ thanks to this great deck.:thumb: I also am not a big fan of Volkners as it is helpful if you cannot use junk arm or regice but it becomes a dead card after that. If you are worried about judge try running copycat as I am. I see the reasoning behind running DGX, but in almost all of your other matchups other than Vilegar it does pretty much nothing. I myself prefer Lux X, because it helps in every matchup in some way. It can even get you out of trainer lock by dragging up those annoying Vileplumes. :wink:
 
Welll the thing is, DGX is a dead card when you go against other decks. you just then regi move it out of your hand or use it as junk arm requirenments(however you spell that). It also matters what decks are being played to see if i run the DGX anyways.
