Gyarados Strategy

Ok...I used to be a dedicated Gyarados player back in the good old days, and seeing it pop up again, I've become quite interested in building the deck once again. For the most part, the strategy is exactly the same. But now, junk arm is the main "dump" card for magikarp. My only question is how do you get junk arm early so that you can dump magikarps?

Most players I see don't rely on Junk Arm. They use Regice. It's searchable and you can scoop it or use Seeker to use the power again.

quick draw is used if in hand/ can get back rescue/poketurn/pokedrawer/luxury ball

Yeah, at least for me, Junk Arms is the "nice to have" card, whereas Regice is the reliable and sought after card for dumping Karps.

You should, the average gyrados lists only play 2 junk arms some play none.
