Wait...you didn't flip a table?

You're going to Chicago? Are you driving that morning then coming back that night(aka not staying the night before or night after?) If so...think you could squeeze me in?

If you're staying either night then nevermind the above.

Awesome

Gym challenge was so cool this time. Yes, yes, this is my last time playing:frown: . Well, in 11-14 that is. This was my last gym challenge until I'll be in 15 and over. I loved the deck that I was using, Powdacham, but I came into a few corners with it, espicially with the Lunarock deck that I had 2 go
up against in the top 8 'cause I lost. O well, there's always Illinois that i may go 2, so I can win:lol: .
I dont no who won yet sooo yea im gonna go.

SEE Ya ,

Jared I have no idea how many people are coming to CHi-town with us ????
We might have a spot open though but don't hold me to this.
When or where did I say I flipped a table I wish I did though it was in Vince's guide to flip tables.

What a great day for a tournament...

fabulous turnout!! Around 84....almost equal representation in all age groups.

Got to give props to my daughter...4-1 in Swiss, avenging her only swiss loss in the top 8 and losing a very very good 2 of 3 to Jeff Sharp (playing Rocklock..a tough match up for her Eveelutions deck) in the semi finals.

Congrats to all the winners and players. And thanks to everyone for making the day go smoothly

I am sure Vince will do a final recap

well great event, somehow i made the top 8 playing flarados with a twist ...then roll aound 15 tails in a roll losing to a good dragontode player...man did my luck turn(15+) as for my son he didnt do as well he went 2-3 in the (10-) playing a machamp/pigeot/miotic deck ,he is learning and getting better every day...he was a little upset ,but im still proud of him for trying ,its only a game.. There is alot of good players in the 10- here in st.louis
as for the event it was lots of fun ....and my luck came back win i prized out getting 2 mew exs

Chris i hope you still play,i enjoy our battles and your kids are great players
peace out

OK, here is the recap "From the big chair"

Everything went smoothly....

Everything timed out perfectly!

How does NOONE mention Pokeball Dodgeball!!!

Happiness is having 30 kids playing pokeball dodgeball, and NOONE getting hurt.

I have to send some love out to Juaquin, who registers late, gets a loss for round 1, and goes 4-0 for the remainder, making it into the top 8!!

Have to send love out to Matty - deciding he was going to play and not within 30 minutes of the start, him borrowing a deck, and then winning it all!

Kudos to Jeff Sharp, who final busted through Mason, and took the title home!!!

Ben Dufour, the final MAJOR PROPS - proving the power of K9 and his mastery of the deck, by winning his FIRST trip to Worlds!

Big props to Corey T, for a 2nd place finish, one of his first finals tables, playing his league archrival...and handling himself like a champ!

Too all the players and parents - thanks as always for pitching in, and making this a fun event for all of us!

Tourney timed out perfectly, finals rounds timed out perfectly.

Much happiness with having 2 kids after the first game of the 10- finals take a little break to "let off some steam" playing dodgeball with the other players in the final 4 of 10- (I'll allow it!!)

I have a small tear, as I realize, this is my last major tourney I will run until next tourney season!

Thanks to all, especially Clay Mitchell and Ray Simmons for making my events whole. You guys are the best PTO support any PTO could have!!

Thanks to Scotty, for being there for me all season, for Chris, Rachel, Jared, Cory, Bela and Matty, for making this all work!

Thanks to Joe B, for always being willing to run get food!

Thanks to Rhonda, for stepping up as a true Pokemom!!! I hope your kids keep in this game for a long, long time!

Thanks to Jeremy and Charles, for stepping up and taking control of the leagues, as I was travelling!

Thanks again to Chris and Melissa for really helping in the new player recruitment, and advocating the game!

I know I am missing a lot of people...St. Louis is such a great area!

Oh, gosh, thanks to Chaddy for his continued support of this great gym, and for being a true friend in all of this! You deserve it all man...keep on going!

One last CHAW PIGLETS for the year!

See you all at Nationals, meet up with me at Worlds..after day 1...for the Piglet Draft!!! (Free to all 12- players not going on to day 2)

Oh man - I had no idea that this was your last tourney of the season! Vince not running tourneys is like the sun not rising :(

Thanks for the love, and congrats on yet another smooth as silk tourney, and for another awesome season!

Chris- It's good to know you will not retire so soon, I would have missed you alot.

Jared- Unfortunately, we will not be going to Chicago this weekend. However, I'm pretty sure we will still have the tournament at Gathering Ground (if it's closed for some reason we will probably move over to B&B).

Anyway, the challenge was fun although I would have liked to win it. Coming in at tenth place was sad but I felt worse for my brother who came in at ninth. Soooo close. Flariados is horrible for Tyrannitar EX. But overall I had fun there and look forward to next year; after all I play the game for fun and I recieved greatly yesterday.

See ya later.

What am I, chop liver? -_-

Thanks Vince...=P BTW, you still gonna be around the leagues or only now and then as usual?

No, Jared, not chopped liver, but Jeff Sharp got eliminated by Mason in, I think, both of the other Gym Challenges they faced in!

You played great, I wanted to see you take this home!

Kudos to your sister in her first big event making it in the cuts!!

Thanks again!

Now that travel season is over, my attendance at leagues will increase, watch and see!

Talk to you soon!
