Hey guys so I will be going to states for the first time, and the only deck I have is a Gyarados, which I will be using, Sadly I don't have any tech for Vilegars/ Lostgars :frown:. If anyone can give ideas of how to improve this deck, it would be awesome. My decklist is as follows.

Pokémon:
4- Magikarp
3-Gyarados
2- Luxray GL
1- Luxray GL lv X
4- Sableye SF
2- Uxie
1 Mespirit
1- Regice
1 - Azelf
1- combee SF
1- Lucario GL
1 - Crobat G

Trainers/ Supp
4- Seeker
4-Poketurn
3- Pokémon Collector
3 - Cyru's Conspiracy
3- Bebe Search
3- Pokémon Rescue
2- Twins
2- Warp Points
2 - Junk Arms
2- Expert Belt
1- BTS
1- Luxury Ball
1- Energy Gain

Energy
2- Lightning E.
2. Rescue E.
3- Warp E.

Strategy:

Basically is like any other Gyarados build, start with sableye, impersonate into the needed cards (collector, cyrus, etc) and attack fast and hard with Gyarados. Luxray Gl lv X is for some disruption and taking down cheap prizes, reusing with with Poké-turn, while Gyarados attacks. Lucario gl is my Mirror match counter, But I don't have any vilegar/lostgar counter.

Tech

I find the best tech is speed, I run my Gdos with smeargles I used sableye but 1 early judge kills your impersonate... I would take the lucario gl out I doubt you would ever use it...

You dont need that much luxray, it will definitely end up clogging your hand. you NEED 4 BTS. Not playing four would be like an Sp deck not playing four cyrus, gdos just needs it that bad. Same thing with pokemon collector, play four. Also scrap lucario, unless charizard is really big in your meta, but even then you should be able to beat them on speed alone haha. And since you arent playing luxray get rid of the egain, and lightning. Also you could try out tech cards like volkners, lookers, vs seeker and i strongly suggest pokemon communication. Hopefully this helped.

umbreon has been found to work in some lists with sp. darks
it 2 shots gengar prime
and vilegar can't touch it

4 collector
4 bts
4 dual ball
4 seeker
4 junk arm
4 draw +
1 luxury ball
1 vs seeker
1 poketurn
2 ssu
1 black belt
1 bebe search
1 poke communication
2 poke rescue
2 expert belt

4 karp
3 dos
3 smeargle
2 uxie
1 azelf
1 regice
1 crobat g
1 skuntank g
1 combee
1 unown q

3 rescue nrg
3 warp nrg

This list helped me T8 and I creamed gengar my first 3 rounds in a row. VS gengar use two attacking gyarados or poison structure on tank. VS luxchomp you try to outspeed for the donk or you can use black belt for the revenge kill.
