how do you max out a pokemon's happiness?

just keep training it and there is a special bell I think you can give it and it's happyness will go up faster. I think if you give it vitimines or berrys it likes that will also work.

Keep it in your party, let it hold something, don't let it faint often and heal it from status afflictions quickly. Vitamins also help

The item is called the soothe bell.... allow the Pokemon to hold this and it cuts taming time in half (more or less).....

I generally allow the Poke to be in my party with Soothe Bell while I egg hatch, killing 2 birds with one stone

Other helpful hints.....

EV training... by maxing its EVs it will become tame
Give it items, potions, vitamins ect
Have it in your party
Let it hold an item (Soothe Bell gives x2 effect)


Hatching one and raising it from an egg is a helpful advantage as well....

TRADING IS BAD!!!! Pokemon dont like it when you trade them!!!!

Buy a bunch of vitamins.

Give them to the Pokemon.

I'm trying to evolve Rioru into Lucario right now but I'm too poor to afford Vitamins in the game at the moment lol, I had to buy 99 Ultra Balls for a Legendary and it took me 79 of them to catch it =(

Let them go to parys that their friends hold, don't make them do their homework, and pay them for the chores they do.

keep the pokemon in front of your party. heal the pokemon with lots of potions,revives,full restores,and dont let the pokemon faint,try using him or her alot in battles, give the pokemon some vitamin items like protein,iron,zinc. Thats all it takes to make the pokemon like you.

Dont ever let the pokemon faint and deposit the pokemon into the PC because the pokemon will like you less.

Wow, was it weakened and asleep/parlz? Is Lucario a legendary in the game?

No, itll be the same either way...Just different OT.

weakened and paralyzed =P

and no Lucario is not a legendary, you only get one Rioru (pre -evo of Lucario) but you can breed it and get more
