Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Hatter... Out!... It's been fun everyone!!

Very sad to see you go, Josh. I still tell people about our game in the Professor Cup last year.

Take care of your personal business, and don't be a stranger.

Yo, Hatter!

I'm writing this here instead of just IMing because I want to surprise you, and because it gives me time to collect my thoughts on the subject.

It's sad to see you go. I haven't known you long, but you're a really fun guy and you brought a spirit to the game that most people can't even approach in terms of likability. I also know, from out Apprentice battles, just how good of a player you are. You make and idea and any deck work for you, and there's a lot to be admired about your creativity. You're one of the few friends I have in the TCG and also one of the best.

It's also a loss to the community, as you've been continually giving to it for ages. You write many articles and make many decks for people and you've always promoted creative deckbuilding. You even created several archetypes all on your own, but you always took it really lightly without overinflating your head.

It was fun too to see you play my build of TurnCruel at that tournament last year. You took a deck you probably had next to no experience with it and sweeped.

And my condolences go out to everyone who knows Hatter better than I do. It's a little more than an upsetting bump in the road for me to see you leave the game, so I don't know how bad it is for another people who know you better than I do.

Good luck with everything in life. I hope you never lose your sense of wonder ;D

I just want to thank everyone for all of their posts. : ) <3

I really had no idea that I meant this much in Pokemon..
I mean, I am grateful to have known everyone on these boards. It has been MY HONOR to get to know all the wonderful people that play this game. It has also been great to work with all the players I have been able to work with, and I find it a shame that I can not finish out this season, as I was having the best season I have ever had. Although, I had insufficient funds to go to nationals anyway...

I digress,
THANK YOU POKEMON PLAYERS EVERYWHERE FOR THE GREAT GAMES, TIMES, EXPERIENCES THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME IN THE PAST YEARS!

hey josh, sorry to hear that you're giving up the game, hope everything is okay at home......my kids and i will miss seeing you and your dad when we visit las vegas for tournaments......

wait, what?, whoa, huh?

Oh, I see that you're taking a break. So sorry to hear that you're stepping away from Pokemon for a while because we'll miss you! I know you're busy with school and that is very important for your future. So, the very best wishes to you, and I speak for many when I say, we're looking forward to your return.

GJ Josh, It is sad to see you go but you need to do what you need to do. Sorry to see you go, it's been a blast.

Thanks Nanette. When does Clint go on spring break?
You too Johnny, the only player I know with the same bday as me. =D

This is saddening. Please at least go to LCQ this year, you live so close and could definately make it in. It is a loss to see such a great player go.

If I have the funs I will see what I can do... I would rather go to nationals as I think more of my friends would be there... but I have to provide for others first and make sure they are taken care of.

I'd ask you why you're quitting, but if you want to keep it to yourself because it's personal, it's completely respectable.

I looked up to you as a Pokemon player, you were the best one that I have known. Hopefully you come back one day.

Wow I am really sorry to hear this Josh.. I had just gotten back into the game and now you're quitting? :frown: Your one of the very first few people who I have built a friendship with and now you're going to be gone. If i had known, I would have definitely spent more time hanging out with you. It is a great loss that your leaving as you're definitely one of those people who have made an impact in my passion for pokemon. I even remember that one time when you got me into worlds through grinders with that nidoqueen deck. One of the many favorable memories that I have because of you. Hopefully, you will return one day, and we will continue our journey to become pokemon masters!:thumb:

wow, my list is really similar to this, but I run Call Energy and a few multi.

The pokemon part is almost identical.

*sigh*
Don't stay gone for too long. Last thing we need is one of the Chris-people to start winning our tournies.

Don't know you, don't particularly admire or like you, but it's always sad to see a fellow Pokemon player leave.
May you have success wherever life may take you.

I hope you'll reconsider your decision but I'm considering doing the same thing for very different reasons. So I sorta have an idea on where ur coming from. Plus, the game will be waiting for you if u do have a change of heart. Believe it or not, but it was probably more of an honor for me to play you than it was for you to play me. I was just hoping I wasn't ur missing opponent before we played. It's amazing how much respect you can have for someone you don't even know.
