I don't know if this is possible. But I have been playing casually with my friends. I am wondering if there as updated list of the old Haymaker decks? Using cards from any set new or old. I think it would be a fun casual deck to play with friends.

Any ideas?

If this is in the wrong place, please move Mods.

Thanks in advance.

If Haymaker isn't really possible. What are some budgety decks that are good enough? was thinking about machamp donk possibly. But idk.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

if you play for fun, play haymaker although it isnt that strong. but there are some ways to improve haymaker (i didnt play haymaker, but i know which cards were used)

Sawk BW:

it has better stats than hitmonchan. The attacks are almost the same

Zangoose COL:

Personally i think zangoose is better than scyther because it can send a card into the lost zone and you dont need the grass energy for swords dance. But scyther has better stats in my opinion (10 less hp, but resistance and no retreat cost)

i dont know if Aerodactyl fossil were used in haymaker often, but you could use it because you only run basics. With stange cave aerodactyl is basically a basic pokemon

If you want a better deck trade/ buy cards which arent in hs-on because these cards are cheap and you have a great card pool. a cheap and good deck is do the wave. You use a pokemon like cincinno, mightyena la, lucario pt, wigglytuff jungle etc and bench sitters which have a good support ability or disruption ability. Claydol GE and/or Pidgeot FRLG have a good power for setup, Muk removes any pokemon-power and dark vileplume are good fur disruption.

I think he's more going for a 4-corners type strong Basic deck, not necessarily the exact same effects.

A low budget 4 courners deck could include:
1. Alomomola for the fire and fighting guys
2. Lanturn for yanmega and kingdra
3. Onix(boundless power)? can one shot magnezone/zoroark/cincino
4. Feraligatr prime and energy switch to power everything

Energy switch moves only 1 basic energy at a time.
The closest thing to haymaker right now is Tornadus Zekrom.

Yeah, I'm not really sure where I was going with that one. I was kinda thinking of shaymin, but he asked for something much cheaper, being E-switch. But you could only use it a max of four times without Junk arm.

Well there is always the six corners deck that is played nowadays, it uses Virizion, Victini, Kyurem, Bouffalant, Terrakion, Zekrom, Reshiram and shaymin. I actually saw it win a cities today, it was really good.

You could look up some SP pokemon decks from last season. Rayquaza (Legends Awakened) powers up pretty quickly with Reshiram, Zekrom, and Shaymin and you could add some Swoop! Teleporter and Giant Stump with Windstorm so you can play more basics down. Mespirit (LA) will shut down Crobat G. Uxie (LA) would be a nice addition too (at least 2). Unown G can counter Machamp. Lugia (SW) can hit for 130 damage if the defensing pokemon has no energy attached. And Mewtwo lvl.x would be an overall good counter to other haymakers. Maybe Pachirisu with Zekrom?
