:ppowr: Once at the end of your turn, if Heatran is on your bench, you may use this power. If you discard basic energy cards attached to your :fire: or :metal: active pokemon by using that pokemon's attack this turn, attach up to 2 of those energy cards to that pokemon.

Ex.1 Rapidash SF: if i discard two fires i just leave them on him?

Ex.2 Infernape MD: If i discard 4 fire i just discard two?

Ex.3 Magnezone SF #5: discard an energy attached to magnezone. so only one energy is discard.
.........a) discarded one lightning can i search my discard for another lightning and attach both? or do i only get my lightning that i discard?
.........b) i can discard say a dark energy and it will be reattached right?

Ex.4 Magnezone lvX: if i discard a lightning and a metal, are those the two that gets reattached? or do i discard one of the types say lightning, reattach the metal and search my discard pile for a second metal to attach.

Well, strictly speaking, you have to discard them and then reattach them.
Sometimes it can make a difference.
But yes, the end result is that the energy cards, up to 2, wind up still on your Pokemon.
And it's "those" energy. You don't get to retreive different ones.

1. Reattach both.
2. Reattach up to 2
3. a. Reattach one. You don't get to fish around for something that wasn't just discarded by it.
b. If it was just discarded, yes.
4. You would only get to choose the ones that were discarded.
