This is a deck I just started playing with and don't have much testing for so I would love if you could help me work out some kinks in the Pokémon or Trainer lines.

The basic idea of the deck is to (if possible) get out both kilngklangs and start hitting with either of your coballions while not taking damage from their Ex's and using max potions when you can. Depending on the match up you would set up a different Klingklang first ( if against something like lando mewtwo set up plasmakalng first) and probably use different attackers (you wouldn't attack with coballion ex if the have boffulants). Here is my complete decklist.

Pokémon:
2 NV Coballion
2 Coballion EX
2 BW Klingklang
2 Plasmaklang
4 DEX Klink
(12)

T/S/S
1 Trop Beach
1 Computer search
4 Rare Candy
3 Catchers
4 Max potions
3 Switch
1 Escape rope
3 Ultra balls
3 Heavy balls
2 Bianca
2 Colress
3 Skyla
3 Professor Juniper
4 N
(37)

Energy
11 Basic Metal
(11)

I have been playing around with the number of ultra balls and heavy balls, as well as max potions. I've tried running a 4-1-4 on the Klinklnag but the Klank just wasted space more times then naught. Since I'm still rather new to the current format I would also appreciate feedback on my Supporter line. Anything helps, and I'm open to almost any suggestions!

I think that you have a solid frame here. I just won Maryland states with the deck and can give the following tips on my build in comparison with yours.

-I find that you don't need that much support cards in the way of draw supporters. I ran 3 N, 3 Juniper, and 2 Colress. Beach in the first few turns really is as good if not better than say a bianca or cheren. I would max out my skyla count to make sure that you can get beach in play and set up your KKs as soon as possible.

-I've found that you don't need that much search in the way of ultra balls as one or two is all that is helpful. Most of the time I would either start with or soon draw into my attackers. You can just place energy down until you get your shift gear KK out and then move all that energy to your attacker.

-I agree that 4 max potion is a must, and I even play a dowsing machine instead of comp search to get back a 5th in some games. Dowsing machine is much more valuable than comp search in this deck.

-Other than that my only recommendation would be to include a super rod. KK is a really slow deck and sometime your opponent will get a fast start and will catcher your klinks soon after they come into play. Once they have exhausted their catchers in killing your klinks you can super rod them back and try to get set up again. Also, I've had to manually retreat out of poison even with a high switch count, super rodding energies back into your deck is pretty clutch.

Best of luck man. Hope you are able to do well at states.

Is there a reason you're using PLS Klink and not the Heavy Ball searchable DEX one? Upping the HB count to 4 and using the DEX Klink seems like an obvious change to me but I'm no expert .

Both of you thank so much for the responses, @ moothead, That was a typo my bad there is definitely no reason to run PS over the DEX klink. I will change that

Champ buster, thank you so much for the solid feedback. I agree that my supporter line may be a bit too bulky, I like the sound of the supporter line you mentioned allowing you to get the candies or any trainer more often with the maxed skylas. I think what you said about the ultra balls is reasonable, as I too tended to just eventually end up with my attackers in my hand, I was just playing around with those numbers to see if I could make the deck a little faster. Not sure about the dowsing machine, I like comp search just for the extra search but ill certainly try It out to see if I like it. Wow, I don't know how I missed super rod the entire time I've been playing the deck, will add that for sure

changes for now
-1 ultra ball
-1 N
+1 super rod
+1 Skyla

not sure whether I should take out another ultra ball and add another super rod, I'm till open to any feed back so if you have any criticism (about the deck) please feel free to share.

(fixed klink typo)

Yeah, glad to help. I'm telling you that a comp search may be good, but with max skyla the only thing that I would like the comp search for is getting energy out and if you are that worried about wiffing energy (which is not usually a big deal) you could add a energy search. Dowsing machine really helps get you out of jams. When you are playing such a tight deck as Klinklang it really comes down to "do you have _______" and dowsing machine makes sure that you do. I would caution you about trying to make your deck over consistent. Don't get me wrong, consistency is the most important factor in any deck but when you are drawing more that two supporters every time you draw seven cards and using comp. search you list starts to suffer for it.

Also, the main reason that I like dowsing machine is that it makes you list more adaptable. I would use the A-SPEC to get a stadium out of my discard to bump Virbank and nerf the poision damage in the darkrai match up and then would use it the next game against blastoise to get back a heavy ball to ensure that I got two KK set up on the same turn. Comp Search only adds to the consistency and speed of your deck and I would have to question your mind set if you wanted to play KK as a speedy deck. You don't run 4 max potions to make sure that you out speed your opponent. I decked out my opponent in top 4 last Saturday twice to advance to the next round and the only reason that I was able to do so is b/c KK runs those 4 max potions. I think in one of the games I only took two prizes before she decked herself out.

i played this at ohio and got 18th. again at michagan ant got top 4. i personal prefer running 1 klang and 3 cobalion ex with one regular cobalion. the klang helps me greatly as to getting both klinklang out. if you are having trouble getting both rare candy and klinklang then taking the extra turn with klang can be worth it. it also helps with poison/landy math. several times i couldnt switch out a poisoned klink or evolve to klinklang but i could get klang and keep klink alive. i would also play 4 heavy ball and 2 ultra ball. the heavy balls are just a better optiion to get the klinklangs out while ultra balls are best for when you cant get something else through draws. i dont really like esape rope, i would just play 4 switch but thats just me. my supporter line (at michigan) was 4 N, 4 skyla, 3 colress, 2 juniper. i never had a single game that i was dead drawing except in my top 4 matches. the 4 skyla may seem like to many and i origionaly thought that it was a bad idea, but it reality its awesome and can be used to make some pretty clutch evolutions/max potions. another thing to help in what i consider one of the hardest matchups for this deck, darkrai with virbankhammers or even just hammers is running one keldo ex and an energy line more like 4 blend, 7 metal. keldo ex can also rush in if you dont have a switch and attack for up to 140, but generally 110 if you give the attachment priority to the special energies. the only downside is you have to be careful when you bench it.

have you considered exp share in this deck? my friend who also made top 4 with this deck at Michigan played 2 of them and they were his deciding factor in several match ups including our round 7 mirror match.

i still like comp search over dowsing machine. i played dowsing at ohio and comp search overall worked better. dowsing machine makes end game better, but comp search makes set up easyer and can be helpful mid to late if not used ealyer. any match up is so much harder if you have trouble getting klinklang out and dowsing machine dosent really help with that outside of getting tropical beach back. also on that note, i would see if you cant play a second beach for stadium wars. i didnt have a beach to play in mine, but it is an amazing card to be able to have in here. i also only played 3 max potion and the only match where i really need a 4th was in my round 7 mirror, but he only played 3 max potion as well.
