Help me so I can play in a tourney

That's true FS. All I know is Pokemon is make believe.
It's made up and it was created for fun and it's for people
to enjoy. Pokemon is something that should not be criticized
because it's not real. Anyways back to the topic.

Most People are using water, colorless, dark, fire, fighting,
grass, steel and lightning. For example we have Blastoise(Water),
Steelix( You should be able to figure that one out), Pidgeot(Colorless),
and Lugia(Colorless). These make up the powerful LBS deck.
For further cards and there types check the Deck Help and Strategy
section to see which is used.

You're missing my point. I never said that anyone used the cards for that sort of thing (Although there are some kooky people out there). I simply meant that that is what Psychic entails, and condoning such acts by using cards personifying them is not within my realm of acceptance. :mad:

it is Lightning/Metal! Meh I am just seefinally they make a Water/Lightning Lanturn. You never answered my question are Dark Pokemon out of the question too? Each pokemon has a special ability, like these animals can't have them anyway? A Mouse theat shoots out thunder?
 
This is one of the most interesting threads I have ever seen on the Gym. This thread could go on and on and the comments are just going to get worse. Elite of G, the bottom line is you are never going to be able to know how many psychic pokemon are in different people's decks at a tourney. So I suggest you show up to a tourney, with no psychic pokemon in your deck, and play to the best of your ability. You said yourself you don't mind running into psychic pokemon in some games. So just show up, play and have fun. Easy as that.
 
I like ninetales1234's post but I'm sticking with a. I dont care if a deck bores me to death I'll play it if it wins.
 
hey guy cut him some slack there was a guy at our legue who had an extremley religios dad and forbid him to even collect the cards (tina knows who I am talking about) he was like 16 or 17 or something and he had to walk across an extremely busy roads and about 4 mile just so he could play the game

just cause you don't like how a guy thinks don't flame him.

he didnt walk 4 miles. I don't believe its 4 miles.
He was a good player too, always supported himself.
He also played psychic pokemon
 
Anyone who uses religion to say Pokemon is evil obviously does not know what it is about. It's like anything good HAS to be bad.

Play whatever you want. If you think an Espeon is cute, play it. If you think a Feraligatr is cool, play it.
 
And if you think Kingdra ex Sucks do not play it, even with boost enerygy, amount a big Firestarter Rampage.
 
I had a friend whos mom said he could go too legue and pokemon events with me but if she EVER saw his cards she would rip them up and through them in a fire which she did to a few of his cards. Evuentually he saw it as too much of s hassel and felt it easiar to quit. His mom hated it cause his Grandpa in India was also religious and thought that pokemon was a sin and convinced his mom that as well
 
Well, my post was deleted, but I didnt flame anyone. Nor did I disrespect anybody's religion. I clearly stated that religion should not be used to define things such as pokemon cards. Pokemon cards is a means for entertainment and one thing that we've always been able to rely on as being alright for children and people to play who dislike things such as drugs/violence for their children. And now, you're going to take that away too for that reason? Just seems like a terrible reason to me, but to each his own, I'm entitled to my own opinion as are others.

Just a friendly reminder. I'm not mocking your beliefs or anything, just... letting you know what else is to be learned from Deuteronomy, in this case 21:18-21. Just in case you run into one too many Psychic Pokémon and your parents don't like you associating with them.

I don't think all pokemon is evil, I just don't use the Psychic ones or Ghost, for similar reasons (to answer Whicker). I agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and beleifs, so I don't really mind the flaming. I appreciate hearing all of your thoughts (Not through telepathy, mind you), and I encourage more feedback.

But yet... the only Psychic attack in Pokémon that does anything close to "divination" would be Future Sight...
