I've been thinking about making a lost zone deck since it seems like it would work well in this format. I printed out a proxy deck and tested it against a Zekrom deck and it seemed to work well. Some expert advice would be appreciated.
Pokemon 22:
4 Mew Prime
3 Absol Prime
2-2 Zoroark BW
2-2 Espeon UD
2 Mime Jr. CL
2 Zekrom BW
1-0-2 Tyranitar Prime
T/S/S 20:
2 Junk Arm
3 PONT
2 Flower Shop Lady
3 Pokemon Communication
2 Pokemon Collector
2 Professor Elm's Training Method
2 Dual Balls
2 Interviewer's Question
2 Rare Candy
Energies 18:
7 Psychic
5 Dark
2 DCE
4 Special Dark
So, I've changed this strategy a lot. I've decided to make a major change and drop the Gengar line for an Absol one. Since Mew sends my pokemon to the lost zone but Gengar sends my opponent's pokemon to lost zone it's really hard to play it both ways. Dropping Gengar also allows me to drop a ton of stuff that revolves around it such as rare candies, seekers, Spiritomb TR etc. That way my deck has a lot more free space for other things.Adding in Absol also allows me to send my pokemon to the lost zone while doing damage to my opponent as well. Also I can run more darkness energies that way. Basically, Absol sets up for Mew, then Mew comes in for the KO. The other pokemon are for support.
I also recently decided to ditch the Lucario line and fighting energies for a Tyranitar Prime and Zekrom line. Tyranitar Prime's Darkness Howl makes setting up Zekrom's Outrage easy so I can just sweep with it. I can also Lost Zone the both of them as they have pretty powerful attacks. The other reason is Mew has such low HP(60) and Tyranitar has a whopping 160.
This way I have some pokemon with good HP.
