Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

high school

The thing that seems to give most people trouble with school is trying to fit in with a certain group, and wanting to appear "cool".

Do not please do not try this if you know that you will not be able to completly be like the way they are or what they do don't even try I mean there is a difference of being cool and doing drugs, drinking and other things people find that they like make your own codes and stick with it figure out what you want to do and don't copy off of anime shows i recall in the 6th grade i tried acting Like yusuke Urameshi  worst week ever then i tried to act like Kurama with the smarts  that doesn't work unless you have high intelect

I have personally talked to you on aim and such
you seem like an intelligent person and had almost perfect grammar.
I wish you good luck and if you have any problems you can always aim me.

what grade are you going into? It really depends on the area your high school is in. The rich areas are going to have the snobby kids who get brand new cars from mommy and daddy on their 16th birthday. It may take you a little bit of time to find some people to talk to, but don't fret. High school is a temporary line. And a lot of those people you won't ever see again. Work hard, keep your grades up, and develop good study habits that will follow you in college. Enjoy the lax environment of high school work now, because it is nothing like that in college.

lol
you've gotta be kidding me.
High School in all honors/AP classes is such a pain. I almost ALWAYS have a few hours of homework every single night, and I almost always have a test every single day in any given class.
My high school is SO FAR from a lax environment cause my school is so competitive and the classes are so hard to keep up with. Of course the high school I go to has a very high percentage of honor roll students, and a majority of the kids are in all honors or AP courses, which could have somehthing to do with it.
Of course I also know that college will be harder, BUT it is nearly impossible for me to comprehend just how much harder, as I already devote almost my entire life to school (I still manage to have fun though)

BUT high school is fun, and don't be intimidated by what I just said, cause it prolly won't be like that for you.

"Harder" in the sense of "take your grades right now, knock off 10 to 15 percent, and that's what you'll be getting."

The work in college isn't really that much harder....the big challenge is focus....too many choices you get to make and class and homework may not end up high on the list.

I bet your one of those people that is getting/got C's-low B's in regular classes in high school.

If you want to get into the "real" world, you have to have a good resume to get into it.

haha. actually I'm pulling A's and B's in 7 straight IB/AP classes and i recently scored a 1350 on my SAT's.

I'm just trying to tell the truth here.

Well, it has been a looooooong time since I was in high school but I'm willing to give you some perspective from my experience. As so many have stated, the academics are important. You don't have to have the best grades in the class but just make sure that you do YOUR best.

As for friends, most of my good friends some of whom I still have today a few, eh, years later I met outside of the classroom at extracurricular activities (like a gaming club) and church. Do you go to a league near your school? You may already know some people. Also, are any other students making the same transition that you are from your old school to another? If so, you already have a lot in common and can help each other out a ton.

Good luck! I know it is probably scary but in a short while you will wonder what you were scared of.
