Ho-Oh legend

I whould really like to start a deck with ho-oh legend as a main atacker, for league use, nothing big, but i dont where to start or who to add. Any ideas? Thanks

Well Bronzong is an interesting card to search the halves out. Dragonair is another option for well... more options but he needs an extra energy. Emboar or Typhlosion Prime could be used for energy acceleration. Of course Legend Box works but it's luck-based and you don't want too many legend searching cards.

I used this basic list:

2-2 Hooh LEGEND
3-3-3 Meganium Prime
4-4 Tangrowth
2 Smeargle
2 Shuckle (HGSS Promo)
1-1 Blissey Prime

4 Pokemon Communication
3 Pokemon Collector
3 Professor Oak's New Theory
1 Twins
4 Switch
1 Flower Shop Lady
1 Energy Exchanger
2 Seeker

4 Double Colorless Energy
10 Grass Energy

I had a MD-on version that included things such as Tangrowth LVX and Shaymin LVX, but this is what I built or HGSS. I don't have it together anymore, but itwas pretty solid. I would probably switch Smeargles out for Cleffa if I rebuilt it.

The basic strategy was to use Tangela for Grass acceleration into Tangrowth, while building the field of Meganium, Shuckle, and Hooh. When the time was right, switch in Hooh, and move the grass energy to Hooh and attack. Shuckle always got hand-played Grass energy first, then it was moved with Meganium.

Wait... i dont have meganium but i do have klinklank... could it work the same way? I also have skarmory... could it work the same way?

Yes, actually.

The only problem I was going to say was the Tangrowth line in the deck that I had, since it relied mostly on Tangela getting Energy to the field while providing a secondary heavy hitter. Also, Meganium has a solid 80 base damage attack, whereas Klinklang has a flippy one. It might be better to go this route, try it out. As lnog as you have a basic "Stall while accelerating Energy, Drop Ho-oh, Fill Ho-oh with energy, ATTACK!" concept, you should be ok.

Also, Shuckle's attack costs :grass::colorless:, but that's a different issue altogether.
