hi

i would like to know how this works, i know that will prevent discar cards or switch pokemons, but how about added damage like in Revenge.

also if anyone can explaine how the new trainer/supporter rules work, if i use budew to search an old supporter card that has trainer in it like copycat or bill's maintenance.

Calculations used to determine the total damage are just that, calculations. They are not effects.
All damage is done and is not reduced by Holon WP.

Budew is "aware" of what the new rules are since it's a new card. So it knows that it can't get Supporters or Stadiums. Even if they have Trainer printed on them in addition to Supporter or Stadium.
It can't get a Copycat or Bill's Maintenance.
