Hello, I saw the scans at pokebeach today and I am concerned about the quality of the foils from this set. If you check up the scans of the energies on there, you can clearly see a vertical cut in the foil of the lightning energy and a cut in the grass energy as well. Delta species didin't have any cuts in the foils, why is it the case for this set? I hate vertical cuts in foils due to an unaligned foil partern (I guess I am no alone am I?) Will this be corrected in later print batch of this set? In any case, this will be a pain collecting energy with no cuts on them :frown:
 
its not just the energies all holo foils/reverse foils i got from the pre release has vertical cuts i thought at first it was just a misprint but after comparing it to other cards ive notice that its common to have a vertical cut on the cards for this set
 
Almost all of mine have cuts, but it really does not bother me. I also thouught it was a misprint, but then I realized it was not :( Oh well, the Energies rock anyways.
 
relax i went to the prerelease and i got a water and psychic and they were fine, also, the three delta water quazas i got are fine to

You got lucky then. All of my energies and quite a few of holos have that veritcal line- Some of the Holos even have box cutter like slashes going across them...
 
The problem is that when it was printed, it was measured wrong. So say a card is 4cm long, the foil was cut at 4.003cm. So like every 1000 card is right.

so ur basically saying that for this set the misprinted cards are cards that doesnt have vertical cuts? ^^
