Holon Transceiver

Hi,

1. Can you play a Holon's Transceiver even if you know that there is no Holon Trainers in your deck (or discard if you search your discard pile) ?

2. Can you play a second Transceiver on the same turn after you've just played a Holon's Tranceiver and didn't take one from your deck ? (I'm assuming it doesn't matter if you search your deck or your discard and don't find one)

1. Your deck, yes. Your discard, no.
The discard pile is "known" and so you can't do what would be "known" to fail.

2. You could play one to seach your deck again, but not your discard.
Note, if you do so and time is running out, you could get hit with stalling.
