In short I got banned from another game xD:

Game: Flyff (Fly For Fun)
Main Character: homeofmew
Level: 95/121H
Class: Acrobat/Ranger
Server: Lawolf
Money Spent on game: $500+/Yr

Ban Issued: Around~ 6pm PDT: 09/30/09
Reason: Opening Shop too Close to a Game Moderator
Length: 5 DAYS



Now I am the type of person that likes to try to figure things out.

Usually in flyff- the only way to get banned is do something really dumb and a GM (Game Moderator) to see it.

Also usually if you do something bad, you get an in game warning, very few bans result is auto permanent ban. I got no such in game warning or any note anything was wrong.

Note: Some are Permanent until you get a response from the game.
(might take up to 12 days)

Also the other way to get banned is someone to report you- which I highly don't think happened since I really don't talk to anyone else but my guildies.

Also I Saw A GM not that long ago and nothing seemed wrong, except he called he weird.

Conclusion:
I played flyff mainly for fun and supported them a lot over the past 4-5 years but this really put a sour taste on stuff. Secondly it is very easy to get to a state of " end game" at lvl95 meaning you can't get any more good items/stuff

In short Flyff/Gpotato just lose someone who spent a ton a money supporting their game because it was fun and I never had an issue with it until now. It's really their loss not mine.

to your last line...actually it is a loss for you considering you spent that much money and all they did was allow you to play..

just sayin.
 
Game's bad anyway lol. I couldn't stand playing it very long at all. How on earth you put up with it to 95 is beyond me.

Have you considered that your account may have been hacked, and at some point when you weren't on, someone was doing something that was against the terms of service on your account? As a Warcraft player, I see this happen a lot.
 
That is sad....granted, I quit playing Flyff long long ago (found trying to do any leveling beyond 50 very tedious, and I discovered WoW), but that is lame you got banned for pretty much no reason at all. I hope they unban you soon.
 
umm permanent=forever i don't know if they will unban her.

Sorry to hear about this especially if you had to pay and play for hours and hours and hours to get that far

ban summary: Banned for: Opening a shop too close to a Gm during a bake sale when multiple warnings were given out.

note: I actually did open a shop, but I thought it was far enough away from the GM, guess not.. I understand though it can get laggy and stuff but I wasn't blocking any GM or in the way.


banned until Monday October 5th assuming 6pm PDT

yo tina, i'm real happy for you and imma let you finish, but Runescape was one of the best online MMOs of ALL TIME.

got full rune then quit.

gave everything away but rune axe to a friend of mine :)

Actually, I was referring to the "no reason given" part. How the heck do you terminate someone's account and not give a reason? That's some good business there. Gives hope to all the other players, I'm sure.

I see they did give you a reason eventually, but still.

You gotta love mods on games, sites, forums *Cough* Cough*.
 
I agree the reason is really lame- I contacted some other high level people in game too and they think it is lame.

lame reason = not perma ban

One said "you can get banned for that?"

edit: Also, Nexon games can't generally be considered "Free" considering they tend to suck rather tremendously if you don't use any paid services.

I agree that Nexon has plenty of issues to sort out, but as soon as they patch up D&F and fix those exp rates. . . :D

D&F can be played just fine without the cash shop (which isn't even operational yet). Granted, avatar pieces do give stat boosts in addition to making you look more unique, so there's definitely incentive to pay money. I've enjoyed the game just fine without that though.

I don't know how you played Mabinogi for so long. :( I stopped after a week or so. I'm less jaded toward Nexon, so I'm looking forward to Dragon Nest since it looked pretty cool. Mabinogi Heroes also looks enough like not Mabinogi to make me look forward to it as well. They'll probably end up being terribly grindy and make me sad though. :(

I have to say it, stop trying to be a mod wannabe, you'd probably make a good one, but everything is fine on the gym.

Try Maple Story, it's a good game and I can help out anyone if they want to play, I'm on Broa...
