Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Honchkrow Engine

I pulled a Honchkrow Lv. X from 18 packs for judging and I was thinking about building a deck around it.

The Pokemon lineup looks something like this, but the trainer engine is undecided.

4-2-2 Honchkrow
1-1 Mighteyena ex
1 Stantler

So far I have thought of two engines for this type of deck:

Castaway with Buffer Piece to protect Murkrow
Disruption with ER2, TGW, Team Galactic's Mars, etc.

Which one and/or maybe another engine to run with the 'Krow?

The first version runs 4 PlusPower and 1/2 Strength Charm. Also, Honchkrow Lv. X has a nice sniping attack to snipe basics. Still, you should try to take out S2 decks before they evolve.

Blissey <--- hate it! But thank you for the idea, millionkp. The one Stantler is if I can't set up so I can grab some supporters just in case. My league leader runs it and the Stantler has helped him out of jams. There is only one because I want to start with Murkrow.

I quickly wrote out a decklist, and I was able to fit both of the Trainer engines in. Since you only have 11 Pokemon and this deck doesn't require a lot of space for Energy there should be a lot of room for Trainers.

I like my receipts...dipped in ketchup!

yah Fox is right.. The mighyena ex idea is kinda cool but I found there is no room for it.. unfortuanatly but there is a way to combine in fact I could help u out for u see I play a Krow deck but mine is a little diffrent.. I can PM u a list in a little bit if u want..

Crow Disruption: Absol SW-ER2-Wadgers-Mars-

4-2-2 Honchkrow/Lv.x
4 Absol SW
1-1 Mightyena Ex

Castaway in the disruption one isnt bad. Also weavile line wouldnt be bad.

3 Crow reg and 1 Lv X is the play. Considering Honchkrow shoulr rarely be active, you wont have much opportunity to level him up, thus two is a waste.

I used to think that too, but it seems like it highly depends on the build. One with multiple Warp Points could possibly warrant the inclusion of 2 lv Xs. Even then, that second Krow lv X might just be better off as another TSD.

That is MY deck . Ascension, you are so lucky there isn't league this week. Atleast I'm still better at RPS than you

The Lv X is Bloody near useless, The only reason I'm not saying SPUD to the entire idea of running him is because there is no reason to run 4 Honchkrow, thus you may as well include it, for the HP boost if nothing else (his second attack can be pretty brutal though...).
