Mirror match is a game of waiting, you don't set up banette til mewtwo comes out, but if your good, you keep your opponents banette off the field. Banette and mewtwo is the thing to do in mirror.

I repped HoPe today at BR's after playing for about a week. Went 4-2 and missed the cut. The deck took care of 2 out of 3 viletomb, a Ampharos deck, and Tyranitar Prime deck.

I only read the first page of this thread, and already Im frowning. Like, A LOT.

HoPe is a great deck. Its a randon mix match of SP cards and techs used mainly for the purpose of countering EVERYTHING in the format.

Its creator; Eleki has more than proven his skill as well as the decks credability as a Tier 1 deck.
He swept BR's and CC. I dont remember his states record or Regionals either. But at worlds he got like Top 12 with it.
He would of done even better but he got judged like 4 times. And all SP decks are hurt by judge.

Those of you saying its a bad deck need to remember this; only a few people actually play it correctly. AND, it is not popular because of that. Its not exactly rogue, but its underplayed too.

BTW: Today is 9/25/10 and Eleki just took 1st place at BR's in the MASTERS age group out of 40+ masters.

I'm sure if you won a master's BR with a deck you made and had people calling it bad you would go nuts about how good the deck was. Eleki kept his cool, knowing that when played right hope can be good.
Also, are you a senior or a junior? Because a master would know that even a BR in a competitive metagame would be tough to win, especially for someone who just left the senior division.

'nuff sed.

yea brs are pretty hard here in the west coast when like 60+ masters show up and only top 4 which means some people who go x-1 miss top cut so its pretty hard around here and eleki did a great job of winning
