Of course it had to happen to me

:nonono:So I was battling this one person at regionals, (forgot his name) anyway the most annoying thing happen to me comment if anything like this happen to you. Turn 1 I start with baltoy and he starts with sableye. He goes first attaches a special dark:eek: and Overconfidents:eek: for knock, I had no bench:nonono::mad:. I did have a azelf in my hand but I didnt drop it cause of time walk. Im so made I didnt start with azelf.
 
I was putting out my prizes and then I flip to see who goes first. I go first and in the middle of his 1st turn i realize i only put out 4 prizes and got a prize card penalty and it winds up costing me the game.

Wait, was that at Richmond Regionals? It'll be SO funny if it was.
 
shaymin x land form, i ily equip grass energy instead of call, and he knocks me out since i was 10 damage away
 
At States I had my Azelf active, and I had to retreat it so I could use my Infernapes to sweep the rest of his MightyTank deck. I went through 17 cards of my deck, and didn't get an energy to retreat, and then I used 2 PokeDrawers to just search it out, and passed, and he KO'd Azelf for the last prize. I then found out Moonlight Stadium was out.
 
At CC's, I was 3-1, going into the final round of swiss.

My deck has a solid matchup against Kingdra, so I should be fine.

I start with my Azelf only, T2 Rosy for baltoy and Machop. There's only one Machamp in the deck, no claydol, and one Machoke.

I survive two more turns only to realize both Claydol, two Machamp, a Rare Candy, and Machoke were all prized while I had to start with Azelf.

I'm sorry but that is HILARIOUS.

This is irony not bad luck but at league tonight I donked a horsea with sableye, then looked at his hand and saw that he would have T1'd me. XD
 
Lost because the guy I was playing retreated leafeon X with ten health left and I didnt have any snipers. :[0

Also, was playing a friendly match, got beat by a starter deck because I didn't get anything somehow.
Next match right after, I'm running a 17 energy deck (MagmaKiss) and 5 energies are prized. I get energy screwed. I finally get out a Togekiss. POWER SPRAY. I hate that card.

I can't begin to tell you how funny this is, since it was my brother you lost to.

Silly you for not making sure you had 6 prizes out before you started. :tongue:

That was a table away... oddly enough my opponent also didn't put prizes out, giving me a free prize... and so when I heard so close by "JUDGE HE ONLY PUT OUT 4 PRIZES!" I was like "Man, there be an anti-prize aura somewhere around here."
 
i played againted machamp, she needed 1 heads. if 0, i win, if 1, she wins.
1st: tails
2nd: tails
3rd: tails
4th: heads

bad luck

I was playing a match with my freind (we are working on decks for battle roads) he pulls a galactic garydos and a double energy I put up a kirlia as my active have a deoxys normal form on my bench waiting for energies I get the two I need for him. I need to pull a energy to retreat kirlia I go 10 cards with no energies or search he snipes my bench and wins lol It was funny he was laughing the whole time
 
I was playing obama at regionals and round 2 I get paired up against butterfree.dec... Not only that but I had a chance to pull it out with my omastar tech but I forget to warp point her betterfree to the bench before I use omastar, I then relize that ssu, heads, drawer for my last candy and find out it's prized along with my omanyte and azelf.
 
Everyone who gets a prize penalty for not putting out their prizes should just use a playmat. That's what I do and its working out great!
