Houndoom UF

Hi guys,

Been working on an idea but firstly, would like combos using this overlooked card: EX Unseen Forces Houndoom !!!... (no actually i got multiples of this so decided to build a deck -.-)

The idea i had was:
Crobat HL w Houndoom UF a.k.a Toxic Lock (firstly, Crobat can Flutter Trick to reduce hand size/ Secondly Toxic like attack somehow does heavy damage with time. And Houndooms body.)

Cephiro

Salamence ex/Houndoom is something I've been testing for awhile. Houndoom's function is obvious, the idea of Salamence ex is to snipe the bench with Flame Jet and use Bright Flame when neccesary. Of course Reversals/Pows (depending on the build) are used to trap a high retreater whilst disabling Switches and Warp Points.

It also blocks Crystal Shard and counter stadiums (Magnetic Storm) so there's no way to get through Salamence's resistances, meaning it should be able to take a considerable number of hits. Also despite cutting out Salamence's ex Body, Battle Frontier is the stadium lock of choice.

I use Poliwrath FR/LG with my 'dooms. With trainer lock, they can't use Switch/Warp point to unconfuse their Pokemon, and Poliwrath prevents them from retreating. Plus a solid 80 damage to EXs, and Battle Frontier/Desert Ruins lock.

Oh, and Aipom works good too, as the power reduces the ammount of Pokemon you have in play

Charking, I like your idea.
Meh, I'm sure other ppl thought of it. I just thought of it because I was actually searching for a card to use with Houndoom :thumb:

You could be forgetting that your opponent could have two poke in play and still play non-supporters? They could simply play down the stadium of their choice and then lay down bench poke. Just a thought.

No matters which pokemon you are playing, unown E is a must here so you will full their bench every time. Octillery is awesome cause your opponent can retreat and can do a lot of damage with few energys, and Gengar Ex is also great. But why aipom??? You dont reduce your bench you just shuffle the pokemon you place 10 seconds before you drawed the card.

You won't do Snappy Move right after you put Aipom down sometimes. He can even net you an extra card from Steven's advice. Throw him down to burn a card, Steven's, then Snappy Move for another card. Plus it's another basic you can Swoop! for Poliwag/Houndour, and a great deck thinner. And yes, i tried Aipom in my Doom deck already. He helps out more than you think. My point is, there's more times when he'll be more of a use than just a drop-and-draw monkey.

I use Medichamp ex and Houndoom. And it is so good. I won a tourney for using it. However it can have bad match up especially against psychic.
