Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Houston Regionals - April 12, 2008

11 days.

Not much to say that hasn't already been said. You know the drill, you know what needs to be done. Get it done, make it happen.

For some of you, this is the biggest tournament you'll ever play in. For some, it's just a stepping stone. Regardless of what this event means to you, be prepared and battle like there's no tomorrow.

See ya soon.

Mexicans will win...BELIEVE =D

Interesting. It will be a tough fought win with close to 100 Masters in the field, I can tell you that much.

Let me throw this in as well. the state of Texas has stepped it up a bit. This year the players have increased their skills and we have more players stepping up to the plate. We now have great players from all 3 major cities, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. Bring in Rick with his 60 card deck, Brent, and a few others from out of town, you've got yourself a great tournament.

Masters won't be a walk in the park, I can promise you that.

Good luck to all.

Be careful when you bet with him Clay...if you bet with the Cook.

I still have passwords that are "twisted" from losing bets with the Astrofan.

Oh, wait, what does he have to bet on in this event? Some team with some interest?

UCL..o, North...o, Kansa....o,

Yeah, I know St. Louis would have to REALLY get some life to be even a Basketball Graveyard...

You know your role Vince, lol. Pokemon, sports, etc, you know who's the boss.

Just call me Mr., Mr. Pokemon.

Big 12 fan so I got to go with Kansas.

Don't forget about the women. Texas A&M is still in by spanking Duke and I'm a big Tennessee fan.

Wow, that could be made dirty. Little kids around. =D

Clay, I'm winning the main event, you can have the Gameboy Tourney. =D

It would only be dirty if your mind is in the gutter. Oh wait, you are in Dallas aren't you? LOL, gotcha.

No GBA event at Regionals.

There will be a DS event if someone steps up to run one. I'm just too busy to worry about DS. So, if someone wants to step up and run a DS tournament, please let me or Mia know.

Hey hey hey... Dallas owns. Oh well... too bad Clay, you don't win anything. =D <3

I'm bringing a whole crew with me.
The Boyer's will be there (total 4)
and the Resch's (possibly 6)
I know I'm not going to win, but I came in 32nd (or 42nd) in TX State out of 77 masters; and I was happy with my 3 win 4 lost record. I wasn't in last place. :)
Hopefully Tina will make the cut this time.
I'm rooting for Billy K. or Johny K. for the win.
Oh yeah, I'm hoping Jorel will make the cut again, too. (Did I tell you I beat Jorel in Oklahoma States? He was supposed to get a bye first round and wound up playing me. I beat him... it wasn't supposed to happen... hehehe)

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Totally off topic but a must read.

I just heard that belly fat can affect your mental health. THAT'S why I'm so crazy!

Back on topic and a must read.

Are you ready for Regionals?

Good idea - Take a good long shower.

Good idea - Use plenty of Old Spice (Ahoy), Speed Stick, Secret or whatever makes you smell good.

And bring extra /\ what ever makes you smell good. It gets hot and steamy and people do start to smell.

I know I had set next to a few stinky ones.

Adam isn't Mexican, he's a pirate now. He gave up his heritage last Saturday at the Katy league when he bought a McDonalds Happy Meal. He built his own pirate ship and everything and even put a Mr. Mike look-a-like cookie on the ship.

He looks like a total stud in a eye patch. At least that's what homeofmew said while scarfing her 3 double cheeseburgers down.

Hey Adam, Trim Spa.

17th place ftw.
nah I am going to nats anyway top cut or not
win or not. It would be nice to walk away with something though.

I would not say that to a minor!
