Do you need to RE-SEND your request to be entered into the raffle for the FREE HOTEL ROOM/NIGHT? This is especially for users of AOL and YAHOO email. If you booked a hotel room for Regionals, and sent us a message to be added to the hotel raffle (raffle for ONE free night), we may not have received your message. There was a problem with not getting messages from users with AOL or Yahoo email addresses. Both Yahoo and AOL have made changes that affect the delivery of certain messages. (If interested, see article below). Actually, this is still a problem, but we now have a work-around. Feel free to use the form below to communicate with us for anything you may need. And feel free to send your request again. We’ll need the name that the reservation is under and the nights of your booking. You’ll get one entry for each room/night. Anyone staying at the Houston Marriott South for Regionals is eligible for this. Send your entry in.

HOTEL UPDATE - I think y'all are trying to book every room available at the Marriott, lol. The GOOD news is the hotel is keeping our room block link up and will continue to add rooms to our block for now. I don't know how long they will keep adding rooms so I strongly suggest booking your room or rooms quickly if you haven't done so already. You can also call in your reservation, 713-943-7979, mention Pokemon Regional Championships to get in the block.

Some great news for our VG players. TPCi has changed the prize for 1st place. They are now giving the 3DS XL to all first place winners instead of a 3DS.

Everything is at the Marriott (Hobby South). All you have to do is roll out of bed and hop on the elevator and the push floor 1 button. We are in the biggest hotel ballroom across from the front desk, behind the waterfall. Yes, the waterfall. All information is listed on PokemonBUZZ.com.

And yes, I'm friends with Mario (in case u know him lol). Another question, can I enter the raffle if I booked in the Marriot hotel? (I just did earlier). I mean, I'm paying full price lol I called and they refused to honor the 89 price :'(

Paying full price? NOT GOOD! Send me a private message, let me know what name the reservation is under and I'll help you out. Did you tell them you wanted in the Pokemon Regional Championships block? Book online or called reservations? Send me the information.

HOUSTON REGIONALS - LAST DAY (10/7/14)

The Marriott is closing our block at the end of the business day TODAY. As of right now, we have 4 rooms available for each night Thursday-Sunday. The guaranteed rate is $89.00 + tax = $104.00ish. Starting tomorrow, you may still book a room at this rate IF there's availability, no guarantees though. Our block name is Houston Pokémon Regionals.
 
HOUSTON REGIONALS - FRIDAY NIGHT

Doors open to the public at 5:45pm.

Registration for the Friday night TCG League Challenge begins at 5:45pm, must be in line by 6:20pm to guarantee your spot in Rd 1. You may also preregister for Saturdays TCG Regional Championships and pay for VIP UPGRADE at the same time.

Registration for the Friday night VG Premier Event starts at 8:00pm, must me in line by 8:30pm to guarantee your spot in Rd 1. You may also pay for Saturday nights VG Premier Event or purchase a VIP UPGRADE at the same time

For those coming in late Friday night and aren't participating in Friday night events can preregister for Saturday TCG Regional Championships starting at 8:00pm - 10:00pm. You may also purchase a VIP UPGRADE at the same time.

FAST PASS - There will be a FAST PASS line starting at 5:45pm and another one starting at 8:00pm. You MUST have your FAST PASS ticket with you if you're in the FAST PASS line. We will not stop and look up your name. Our goal is to have the lines moving as fast as possible.

HOUSTON REGIONALS - SATURDAY SCHEDULE

Doors open at 8:00am for all TCG players

Registration begins at 8:00am, all players must be in line by 8:45 to secure a spot in Round 1.

ALL MASTER PLAYERS THAT TURNED IN THEIR FAST PASS OR PREREGISTERED FRIDAY NIGHT DON'T NEED TO BE IN THE BALLROOM UNTIL 9:30am.

There will be a line for each age division. All players must have a completed deck list BEFORE they get in line. A players deck must be in the exact order as what's listed on the deck list. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, PLAYER ID AND WHAT DIVISION YOU BELONG IN WRITTEN ON YOUR DECK LIST. We will not enter a player if their deck list isn't filled out properly. We will not stop and look up a players id.

We will break for lunch after Round 2. We do have a cash concessions bar set up outside our ballroom with very reasonable prices so that you don't have to leave the hotel. There is also a hotel restaurant around the corner from our ballroom. Exact lunch time will be announced prior to Round 1 starting.

Registration for the VG Premier Challenge will begin at 7:00pm, be in line by 7:30pm.

8:00 am Registration for Masters. Must be in line by 8:40 am.
9:00 am Registration for Juniors & Seniors. Must be in line by 9:30 am.

Lunch after Round 3 for VG players.

8:00am deck checks for all TCG top cut (playoffs) players and or Masters day 2 Swiss Rounds (if there's 227 or more Master players in division).

12:15pm - line starts for the TCG LC, need to be in line by 12:45pm

HOUSTON REGIONALS - IMPORTANT - SHARE TO HELP OUT - Ok PokeFolks, I'll be unavailable for the most part until tomorrow night due to preparation. Here's a couple of things you need to know to make Regionals life easy. 1 No credit cards excepted but there is an atm machine in the hotel, plan ahead if needed. 2. You must have your player id, we will provide one if you don't have one. 3. EVERY player NEEDS a registration slip BEFORE they get in line at anytime, including the FAST PASS sign ups. Registration slips can be picked up outside the ballroom. The slip tells us everything you want to participate in for the weekend, including if you want the VIP UPGRADE. 4. PAY ATTENTION to the signs on easels. The signs will guide you in the right direction. 5. FOOD - We will have a cash concession lunch set up right outside our ballroom, reasonably priced. 6. BALLROOM LOCATION - First floor, across the atrium from the front desk BEHIND the waterfall. Yes, we have a waterfall and no you can't swim in it. Thanks to all that came down to Houston for the weekend. Final #s for TCG were about 395, the average # for Houston. VG had about 250ish, 100 more players than last year.
