well let's see excadrill's top seed total is 305 add sand rush so let's say his speed is 244 x 2 = 488 that how he can be faster with an adamant nature + life orb = good game

You're just forced to use a counter.
Drizzletoad stops Excadrill cold, and can deal some serious damage depending on the moveset. Plus, there are other counters that are a little bet less common, such as certain Balloon pokes (Jolly Baloon Excadrill is the best Excadrill counter in the game imo), and there's always Breloom and Conkeldurr if you just want to end it easier.
Sand Power makes him totally inferior to Landorus, which pulls that off 10 times better due to higher speed, a better movepool (seriously, Rock Polish, Explosion, U-turn, Stone Edge), and a useable Special Attack to OHKO Gliscor with HP Ice with a bit of investment.
Don't think I havene't been swept by an Excadrill before, because I have, on numerous occasions. But he's not broken in any way.

Don't get me wrong; I've used Seaking to high success in Dream World. But if you lack an Excadrill counter, then don't expect to get anywhere.

Too bad Swift Swim + Drizzle is illegal now.
If you do use a rain team, consider Toxicroak for actually KO'ing Excadrill if it KO's Toed with a Swords Dance'd EQ.

I would think that ANY pokemon with TWO active abilities would be illegal
"Politoed comes out"
"Politoed made it rain with drizzle"
"Politoed doubles speed with Swift Swim"

No, having a Pokemon with Drizzle (Toed in this case) on the same team with a Pokemon with Swift Swim (Kabutops, Kingdra, Ludi, etc.) is illegal.

Regardless, Excadrill is great and i would use this in VGC if there were a more reliable way to get the sandstorm up.

I THOUGHT about Excadrill for a team but...setting up your own set up while simultaneously stopping Terakion/Trick Room teams and the only boost you get is breaking Sashes, it would be hard to use... idk, don't knock it till ya try it I guess.

I dunno if you missed the memo but Explosion is useless trash in Gen V.

Normal gem Gigalith is far from useless trash if you ask me.
