How many championship points would you have had last year?

16 from BRs, 24 from Cities, 10 from Regionals, 10 from Nationals. 60 total. I dropped from a States right before top cut at 5-1 to maintain my rating gain for the day, but it was a top 8 so that would've automatically been another 5 points if I hadn't dropped. I also dropped from some cities at 3-0, 3-1, etc. but who knows how I would've done if I had played those out.

Jayson- you won 8 BRs? You sick son of a....

I would've had like 20ish my guess, but I didn't play in any BRs and like 3 CCs

I got a whopping total of(drum roll) 2.
My only competitive deck for the season was magnerock for spring brs, and at the time I was lucky to get to go to one br. I miss magnerock:frown:

CCs: 14 (possibly 12 more.. don't really remember)
States: 16
Regionals: 5
Nats: 3

soo.. 38

Like other people have said, the system was different and that kind of skews the past results. For example, I attended 2 total BRs for the entire year, and also dropped Nationals after round 3. Regardless, here's what I had:

Battle Roads (Only attended 2 Fall, and 0 Spring opposing the rule change): 2
Cities: 13
States: 16
Regionals: 5
Nationals: Dropped--0
Total before worlds: 36, secured invite under the old system.

A couple of these example show that under the old system you could actually qualify to play at worlds but NEVER WIN anything...

But that is a good feature of an invite system. If you are the second or third best player in your area you may not beat your rival, yet you may be much better than the winners in less competitive areas.
