How many decks do you have? Do you always play with the same deck, or do you change decks during league?

Personally, I have 8 decks, 2 are competitive, 1 is somewhat competitive and 5 are experimental (still not at the point they perform as I was expecting them to)

I currently just have 4, tournament-worthy decks. There was a fifth one that recently emerged from the play-testing stage but was dismantled.

5 as well, one is my "serious" deck, the others are "theme-based".
Such as Fairy, Ghost, Fire, and Fossil.

Thanks for the answers, I am a new League Owner, and most of the participants would not be able to cope with my competitive or semi-competitive decks, so I had to create experimental ones, with theme in mind, to play with them without crushing them. I was wondering if it's frequent with other players, or you always play your stronger decks.

I think everyone has a certain deck they are most comfortable with so if they were to goto a tournament they would use that certain deck. My "goto" deck is Virizion Genesect, but I also have 3 other decks built to play with friends, league, etc.

When I play at league, I typically will bring 1 deck that may still be in an experimental stage; but I will also bring 1-2 tournament decks. Although I am a competitive player, I do help less experience players with their decks and/or strategy to help them improve. On the other hand, when I do play high caliber players, even seniors or juniors, I tend to play my best decks. I may still learn something new about that deck.

Also, there are also a number of players who may attend league and are extremely competitive and very, very good. For example, at last weekend's League Challenge, players like 3x World Champion, a former National Champion, 3 players who placed T2 at recent Regional tournaments, former State champions, etc. competed at this tournament. So, one needs to still stay prepared to play at a high level; so, having and playing tournament-worthy decks can help all players, IMO.

I have 7 in-format, and 2 extended format. Of the 7 in-format, 2 are fun decks. I have a Gourgeist/Dusknoir and a Tyrantum that are not competitive. The others all are. You know you've got too many decks when you start running out of Ns.

I know what you mean about running out of Ns haha. I currently have 8 decks (1 top-tier, 3 Competitive, 2 semi-competitive, 1 fun, 1 annoying deck), and I only have 16 Ns. I generally split the line between Bianca and Shauna as a temporary thing.
