It's not overhyped. Dragonite Ex D has actually won some CCs. It's a good card. I think the best deck has yet to be figured out for that card. Shiftry has already been tried with many things.

dragonite ex has actually earned a spot in many decks, including a few of his own
he is an excelent tech, for example, in metanite

In my area there arn't a lot of dragonite decks and there are a lot of shiftry
Sorry to be a little off topic, but Shiftry is not a bust. Will metagross ex see play, yep considering it has 2 other good versions, especially DX for energy acceleration. Why play steelix ex and hit anything for a hundred when you can ko 2-3 pokemon in the same amount of time without discarding energy?
*looks at gardivior in beanbag then glances to TV* no.. looks more like she is watching the Andy Griffith show... she has no purpose in life right now until metagross comes in.

Why is everyone hating on Gardevoir? In a Flygon-dominated area she might not do much but I sweep Metanite clean off the table with it. Sceptile? Be my guest. I'll still hit Metanite hard enough. Then RaiEggs...come on, OHKO anything in sight. Shut down every Power/Body related deck with ease.
And Metagross Ex is just another victim to Gardevoir. People just need to play her right >.<

Yeah, I'm working on a deck with her. Mercury with Scizor Ex anyone? Gardy Ex D and Scizor Ex can be a deadly combo.

Yeah, I've played Mercury, and Gardy ex is just soooo evil.
BTW I'm always playing with Scizor, though, i'm working on a deck that Pappi/Manni gave me.

I'm not talking about any one particular area. See the phrase in my post that says "in the USA"? That should indicate to you that I'm talking about the USA.
Anyway, if you think that Dragonite ex d is such a terrific deck, tell me where it's won a CC anywhere in the USA, Masters division.

Espeon/Metagross is awesome though, devolve and shuffle into deck; then scanblast. Espeon can't devolve active though, hence Umbreon might be a good play.
