Does anyone know how to merge Pop ID accounts? I have two separate IDs because I had to register a new one after forgetting my wallet which had my old one in it. I was told I should still get all my points. Does anyone know if this is possible or am I going to be short points because I can merge them? Thanks.

...and if you HAVE to have them merged in order to play in nats this week...i wouldn't count on them being able to get it done in time if you're only submitting the request now.

jmho.

go to support.pokemon.com
log in using the account you want to keep.

Then click the Request Support Tab
then Ask a Question

* Department: PLAY! Pokemon
* Role: TCG-player
* Topic: Tournaments
* Inquiry Type: Ratings/Rankings
* Summary: ID Merge Request
* Details: I have two active accounts (I forgot my player ID and was given a new one)
Please can you replace my old player ID XXXXXX with this one YYYYYY
thankyou

Nationals is very close and you have left it very late to get your account fixed. Quite possibly too late if the CS representatives are not able to perform such merges. I know the OP team can do these but they are no longer in the office.

If one of your accounts has 10 PP then make sure you use that one at nationals

no but it does mean it will take longer. You will need to contact the TOs for the tournaments and hope they are not busy/at worlds/ on holiday/ working etc etc..

If you want this done you are going to have to do most of the work yourself.

I have gotten the same email "ticket has been closed."

My issue is that my online account doesn't have my Pop id on it.

What I'm guessing is that my pop id is in the system (I have 14 play points). Although I do not have it linked to my account, the pop id itself has the play points connected to it. So, I'm assuming that will allow me to play. Am I correct in this assumption?

Only if your POP ID was able to Opt In for points without your assistance.

If your POP ID has 14 points, they have to be tied to someone's account for the purpose of opting into rankings.

POP ID's do not auto opt in anymore, you have to do it through your Player Account.

So the site says that my pop id is being used from a different account. That account then has the points correct? Am I still in trouble? I do not show up on ratings and rankings by name so I'm assuming im a "not opted into rankings" or w/e it is. The points are being linked to an account of mine I made but forgot everything to lol

If your name is not showing up, for whatever reason, that means you are probably not going to be participating in the US or UK National Championships. Since 10 Play! Points are required and according to the system, you have 0.

What if it says "your parents need to sign you up"? How can I do it if my parents forgot there account info?

Contacting Pokemon directly through the Customer Service Portal.

They will probably get back to you sometime next week, since they are all at Indy now.

First try to recover the username and password using the links on the pokemon.com site

Forgot your user name? and or
Forgot password?

If and only if the player ID has never been associated with an active account then create a new account and attach the player ID to that one.

If you have to recover the parental account information as the player ID is already attached to a base account then use the recovery options available on the log in page. If they did not work then you will have to use the customer service site.

User accounts come in two flavours:
base account: created by a user - player/parent.
Uploaded account: created by organisers when they report players for events league. Or by a user when they enter the PIN on the player ID card.

The uploaded account contains just enough information to keep track of play activity and allow some verification when attached to a user account without the PIN. uploaded accounts have no opt in for anything. When you attach a player ID to your account you are making a link between a base account and an uploaded account.
