How to speed up LEGEND decks in HGSS on?

My KGL deck and my friend's RDL deck are running veeeeery slowly and we're having a problem with Basics even with Feraligatr/Donphan in KGL and Emboar/Ninetails in RDL. Are there any good basics still around besides Smeargle? How can we speed things up a bit? I am considering dropping a more consistent deck for a Legend Box one, but is there a way to guarantee cards with Legend Box? Twins is a MUST right now.

The main thing I can think of to actually get Legend Box out of your deck is to use Zoroark's first attack.

Even then, getting the full legend is a big "maybe," but I suppose that's more or less the nature of the Legend cards.

For ur kgl list use delibird for a starter and also play 2-3 cheerleaders cheer. 4 comm is also a must.

run 4 legend box and electrode prime. it will speed things up. of course run the new prof oak/juniper just so you can get draw power going.

edit: pokedex legend box combo seems good, to see if its worth legend boxing/junipering/electrode priming

Yes, it works fairly well, I run Mantine in my KGL-deck. I also have 4 Communications and I can get KGL quite consistently to the field.
