Hey guys,
I used to play Pokemon quite often but quit about 2 years ago. Now I'm considering getting back into the game so I decided to go with something that is fairly proven since I'm going to have to purchase singles in order to put my deck together.

Anyway, here it is... I appreciate any and all suggestions or tweaks!

Pokemon (15):
3 Darkrai ex
3 Deino
1 Zweilous
3 Hydreigon
3 Sableye
1 Shaymin ex
1 Siglyph

Trainers (33):
4 N
4 Professor Juniper
3 Bianca
4 Ultra Ball
4 Pokemon Catcher
3 Max potion
3 Rare Candy
3 Dark Patch
3 Eviolite
2 Tool Scrapper

Energy (12):
8 Dark Energy
4 Blend GRPD

The strategy is pretty well known. Let me know what you guys think! :thumb:

This is a pretty solid list. The tweaks I would make would be personal preference:

Drop one/both of the Tool Scrapper for a 4th Max Potion/Dark Patch/Dark Energy (I would either keep the two or drop it altogether for consistency).

Try different techs such as Registeel EX and Mewtwo EX for starters instead of Shaymin EX and Sigilyph.

There is also the Bianca vs. Cheren thing. In this deck, Bianca would probably be better but I run Cheren for personal preference.

I was playing around with the deck, and I have to say, I was loving it! There really aren't any changes I can think of off the top of my head. I guess it's the meta deck for a reason, lol.

I am a fan of running a couple of :psychic: energy, no more than 3, and a couple of energy search or Cilan. The reason being that if you lose the blend energy, due to a hammer or more probably Garchomp, you can at least attack with Sigilyph or Hydregion should the need arise.

My current build is this:

-------------------------------------------------
3 Darkrai
3 Deino
1 Zwelious
3 Hydregion
3 Sigilyph
3 Sableye

2 N
2 Cilan
2 Bianca
2 Cheren
2 Rare Candy
4 Max Potion
4 Pokemon Catcher
3 Dark Patch
2 Pokemon Communication
2 Energy Search
3 Ultra Ball
2 Dark Claw

3 :psychic: Energy
7 :dark: Energy
4 :psychic::fire::grass::dark: Blend Energy
-------------------------------------------------

I am personally an aggressive player, so I run Dark Claw over Eviolite, although I am debating over changing one if not both of the claws for Eviolite, the damage reduction against Mewtwo is awesome.

I don't think Tool Scrapper is needed, but if your local metagame is item heavy, than I can understand it as a metagame choice.

Max potion should be 4 of. No negotiation

I'm not sure why you are running Shaymin EX. I assume you can use it to find the blend energies? I have never played it or played against it...

I'm not a huge fan on Prof. Juniper. I get why she is used, but I dunno, I just don't like her.

I have run N in numbers ranging from 1 to 4 and for the time being, I find 2 to work for me. This deck is aggressive and falls apart if it is on the defensive for too long, as such, N can both be a big boon but also a major bane. The amount of times I N'd my opponent into their key cards is ridiculous. So I dropped him to 2 copies and have never had any real issues with him.

With 11 Supporters, you might want to consider Random Receiver. I have found that particular item amazing. Sure there will be times when it bites you, but seeing as how your Supporters, for the most part, draw you a new hand, it might be worth a look.

Other than those suggestions off the top of my head, I like the list. You have certainly given me some interesting ideas.

Pope.
