Hypnotoxic followup

Following up on a recent Hypnotoxic question

1) If I play hypotoxic and flip heads, so that my opponent is asleep, can I play a second hypnotic laser (such as I want to burn cards )?

2) If I am able to play the second hypnotoxic above, and my opponent is already asleep, what happens if I flip tails? Does the opponents pokemon wake up?

Q. If the Defending Pokemon is already Asleep & Poisoned, can you use Hypnotoxic Laser or not?
A. No, you cannot. (Feb 21, 2013 TPCi Rules Team)

Playing the second Hypnotoxic Laser would be considered playing a trainer for no effect, as you said yourself, "to burn cards".
