Well, this report is covering Garner, NC's Battle Road that occurred yesterday.
It began with me getting ready for the big event. I had stayed up until two a.m. the night before, and got about six or almost seven hours of sleep. I got ready, getting my usual chains, and my COF shirt (Peace Through Superior Fire Power <3). Before I knew it, we were at the store, Timesync.
I decided to play everyone's favorite little monkey (Or, InferCatty). I filled my decklist out early, turned it in, and helped a friend of mine with his deck. Also let some people borrow cards. Played some fun games, all that jazz.
Round 1: Kevin P *I think*(Arbok d/Eggs d)
This match didn't last long. I wasn't liking my start at first, and he got a fast eggs. Thing was, he had little bench, so my Jirachi was safe. I sacrificed my Jirachi, got up an ape, and cleared through anything he threw at me (which was an Eggs, Arbok, and all that).

Round 2: Erik Nance (Gatr d variant)
He gave me a really great match. I did not wanna go up against this deck, since it's given me trouble in the past. So, I set up a fast Infernape, and take the first prize. From there, we pretty much exchange blows all over. It's coming down to the wire, me with one prize, him with two. Time is called, and it's on my turn. I wanted to win using the ape, but I didn't have enough fire in the discard. I was one off. But, I still ended up winning.

Round 3: Kevin Nance (Metagross variant)
JEBUS! Nance boy's comin' at me! This was in a way like last game. We both set up, and just keep smacking one another with blows. My Monkeys keep trying to KO his Magnezones, but just short most of the time. We both get down to one prize, and I play the Lv. X to do 150 for game.

Round 4: Brian Leary (???)
I felt bad for the dude. Things weren't going right for him. He went second, leaving me to go first. I was building up, letting two Jirachis get KO'ed by his Flareon d. Afterward, I sent a Monkey up, and KO'ed the Flare. Another is sent up not long after, and burns me. All the times I go for burn check, I flipped heads. I ended up winning the game by swarming with Monkeys for the most part.

Round 5: CK (Mario.dec)
Close game. It's better explained in his report. Basically, I had one prize, he had one prize at the end of the trades of blows. I couldn't flip enough heads to save my life, and he ended up winning because of Cursed Stone.

I end up in second Place, and go against Jake B.
Jake Burt (Salamence ex/Altaria ex)
Game 1: Ugh! I hate top-decks. I had the t1 Ape, but he top decked a basic. UGH! So, I KO the Swablu anyway, and manage to get one more prize off the castform. After that, it's pretty much down hill from there.
Game 2: Catty ex is used more in this game. I get it out twice, but it gets ko'ed in the process. Because of Resistance, I'm not able to really do much. I get down to two prizes, and then lose.
