I need a good DS RPG.

So, I'm really in need of a long good story minded game (mainly cause I'm sick of games like ssbm and MP3).

I'm looking at:
FF3
FF: Reverent Wings
Advanced Wars Dual Strike
Luminous Arc
and I think that's it.

So have any suggestions, or wanna back one of these up?

FF3. If you're not adverse to getting GBA games and playing them on your DS, FF1-6 and Golden Sun.

Yep, I've beaten both Golden Suns.
And I played FF1 and 4 on the GBA, :D

But I'll be picking up FF3 it looks like!
 
I was about to suggest not to get FF4 on GBA since it's getting a DS remake, but NEVERMIND.

Anyway, Magical Starsign was pretty fun and I hear there's this popular RPG named Pokemon. . . you might wanna check it out!

Also, if you don't mind rediculous difficulty levels, Etrian Odyssey is supposed to be good.
 
The GBA version of FF4 is well worth getting if you've ever wanted to switch party members. The DS version is abandoning this in favour of a horrendous system where the final party members leech the temporary members' abilities (e.g. Rosa+Rydia learn Twin), and party member swapping doesn't exist in any of the other versions that have been made.
 
If you're into waiting, FFTA2 should be out in the near future. Otherwise, I personally like AW:DS, even though it's not really an RPG imo.

I agree (stupid licensing and junk, how is it that Japan doesn't get bogged down in this?). The English OG series for the GBA (1 and 2) are fun though.

Also, just thinking of some more RPG games, both Hosigami Remix and Lunimous Arc are supposed to be like FFTA if you like those.
 
I really enjoy Rune Factory. It's like Harvest Moon, where you farm and raise farm animals. But there is also a RPG element to the game, which is really cool. It's a really fun game and you can put so many hours into it with relatively ease.
 
I have Final Fantasy III and it's a great remake. Advance wars is not exactly an RPG, but it's worth playing and it's fun.

Etrian Odyssey actually looks pretty good.

Desert Eagle: SRWW= Super Robot Wars W, amiright?
Also, where would you suggest getting it? Ebay?
 
There are some Dragon Quest games coming soon to the DS, and are supposed to be sequels to Dragon Quest 9 (Which was pretty cool). Also Dragon Quest Rocket Slime is a fun "Psudo" RPG. It's more of an action RPG, cause you don't really level up in the game.
