If you could make a change to a game....

What would it be?

I would make a change to The Legand of Zelda: A link to the past from the Super Nintendo to be made in a 3D environment like how Ocrina of Time is. I would keep the old school soundtrack and sound effects. I would totally update this game to be playable for the most newest "Gameboy" system and the next gen Wii in Ocrina Of Time style.

I would also like to make a change to the Pokemon series to include a new feature that would allow a person to battle a Gym Leader via Wifi. ( The game would still have an option to battle a non-wifi Gym Leader as a default.) The Gym leader would be any one of 5 people with different teams, and it would be a double battle. As a bonus reward for defeating the Gym Leader and getting the badge, you would be able to obtian a "copy" of one ( at random of the Pokemon used by the Gym leader) via the dreamworld.
( yes, alot of work involved in the idea- but this is an idea!)

So, if you could change something in a video game, (any of them) what would you do to improve or make a change to it?

It could be anything, a different soundtrack, controler settings (FPS games, espcailly IMO)- a different graphic style, an overhaul-

So, What would you do to what game?

Majora's Mask-Needs to have a harder difficulty and more dungeons.
Also needs to be remade for the 3DS like OoT.

Mario Kart-You should be able to make your own race tracks.

SSDB-Needs Majora and Travis Touchdown along with a better map maker.

SSBB:
ohmygod
no tripping, no infinite combos, real combos, no MK, more AT's. SOSOSOSO much more i would change then that, but i g2g :p

When Latios has a successful KO with Draco Meteor, a message pops up that says "I make it rain"

Yeah I think the lack of real combos in brawl actually puts more focus on thinking and playing smart and reading. Just saying.

If there are combos, you are more concerned about playing smart and avoiding your opponent;s moves. Making a mistake in 64 meant death, a varying amount in Melee, and only like 10-20% in Brawl.

My point exactly. In Melee/64, you can get a KO with a few good reads. In brawl, you'll need way more.

If there are combos, you are more concerned about playing smart and avoiding your opponent;s moves.

Bit of flawed logic. If combos are nonexistent, I'm still just as concerned about playing smart and avoiding my opponent's moves. It's just that there's a lot more playing smart and avoiding my opponent's move involved in brawl, for the reason above.

Why do you think Melee needs to plays with 4 stock and 64 with 5? Because people didn't like it that getting read 2 times and making 1 mistake costs you the match. Exaggerated, but that's what it comes down to.

THERE we go. Melee actually has balanced characters. In Brawl, they'd have to add so many new characters so that MK wouldn't be as dominating as he is now it'd be crazy.

If I want to make a change to a games data, I just change it and add what I want.
Posted with Mobile style...

@ the doctor: yeah, creating your own tracks is a cool idea. Would make for some fun races.

I am not a big fan or player of SSBB- the game is too chaotic for me as anyitme I have ever played the SSB games, I never know what is going on and half the time- I just can't keep track of where my character is or what is going on cuz TOO much is going on. Fighting games Like Mortal Kombat are more my style. It seems that alot of changes too games are to take away all the "cheap shots" that don't require much skill.

Wait what, did you just say Melee has balanced characters?

Do you even PLAY the game?...

Brawl is arguably more balanced than Melee, it just has the one single standout character who renders about half the roster unplayable completely on his own.

If I could change ONE game?

Rock Band 3. I'd make whatever adjustment is needed to eliminate venue lag, tweak the lag calibration system to be more intuitive (Guitar Hero 6 has the most intuitive lag calibration setup to date), and change the Breakneck Speed setting to work like GHWT/5/6's - multiple per-player speed settings. Oh, and I'd allow the timing windows to overlap more, akin to the GH series but not to the same extent.
