IL State Championship - Rockford - Mar 1st!

Congrats to Tim beating me in the Finals
He was a great player with an interesting deck
I'm just disappointed I couldnt've won one for Illinois xD
 
Also, my son Dusty, our 'Staff Photographer', and Randi did a great job with a ton of pictures and even some videos of various things. I just got done looking through all of them! Whew! I'll be working on getting them up and ready for viewing as quickly as possible for you. :biggrin:

And yes, we had a very diverse area represented... people came from all over the place! And Politoad, you did great! We're very proud of you! I'm pleased to say that we had 8 TIY players that made it to the Top 8 and 2 of them went on to 2nd place... considering the competition, I'm quite proud of all of them!

Dont worry about it. Its water under the bridge. Hope you still had a good time. Great to see you again. Hopefully we will see you at regionals.:thumb:
 
Ya its the same day as my grandpas birthday but if he wants to go to the dells for his bday ill be there if not then i dont know but hopefully i will and yes i did have good time it was nice seeing everybody again
 
Congrats to everyone, I was shocked with how little stalling I observed which I think spoke volumes about the players there. I would also most certainly like to offer my concrats to the judges they were really fun and laid back but also knew when to be serious which I really believe is the quality which seperates good judges from great judges. I will try to get a report up within the next week.

Thank you Jay. We really had our hands full, one judge short, and 30 more players than expected. Glad to hear your thoughts. Congrats on the win and good luck Saturday. Wish we were going to be there. Guess we will have to wait to see you at Regionals.

Ya, sadly, as the night went on, unfortunately some of the picture taking got more scarce. I did list the winners of the Pass Draft tho. I would have really liked to have had more pictures of that. Looked like so much fun! (But everyone kept making me sit down at my table so I wouldn't get in trouble for 'overdoing it' with my back, so I couldn't roam all around like I usually do :frown:)

Actually another video I didn't get that I wanted was a sweep of the expanse of the room when everything was in full swing. Would have really liked to have had that on video. It sounded like maybe Yoshi might have some more...

I got a few more videos in... there's one that will just crack you up! :p
