"Insanity~Pokemon League": Dallas, Texas

Pokemon Rumble was surprisingly fun. We (myself and Drew) went out and bought Rumble afterwards and will probably bring it from now on in case whoever brought it last time forgets or chooses not to.

It is in the league kit for the "Insanity Pokemon League". "Pokemon USA, Inc" sent it for our pleasure. I am glad that you enjoyed it. :biggrin:

Yeah, Pokemon Rumble was super-fun:biggrin:. Hopefully next time we'll be allowed to use Pokemon Lv.X, or maybe even (gasp) Pokemon Legend!:eek:

Anyways, this being my first league and all, and with my limited experience in TCG's in general, how will the booster draft work? I know it has something to do with everyone getting packs and passing along cards, or something like that. :tongue:
 
League Changes to Friday Nights

The "Insanity Pokemon League" is changing to Friday nights. The time for our league is 6:00pm-9:00pm. We are still holding it at the "TTI" complex. Unfortunely, MP Birch has no boosters left from the prereleases. There will be no "Booster Draft". Saturday, February 13th, "Comic Book Craze" will be holding a "Booster Draft" at 1:00pm.

We hope to see you this Friday night for our league!!!

Oofa....what's happening on Saturday mornings that's making the league change to Friday nights (if you don't mind me asking)?

WORK....."TTI" does not want the league to running when there are people working in the office. It is on Friday night or close the league down until "WE" find another place to hold league. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I don't like the sound of that, but if it helps you find a better time/location, then I'm cool with it. I live way out in Irving, so I would've never been able to get there on Friday nights, due to traffic and all...
 
I would prefer Friday Nights, and think it would be pretty cool way to spend a Friday Evening. All the boys have sports Saterday mornings so Friday is even better for us.

I really do not mind Friday night for the most part. I am not sure I can stay until 9 pm on a weekday on a regular basis.

We will meet on Saturday morning (February 20,2010) at 9:00am-12:00noon. Below is the schedule for the "Insanity Pokemon League".

February 20, 2010 (9:00am-12:00pm)
February 27, 2010 (9:00am-12:00pm)

March 6,2010 (9:00am-12:00pm)
March 27, 2010 (9:00am-12:00pm)

I am still looking for a new venue. Because of the "State Championships" in March, those are the two dates. I will consider holding some league time on Friday nights, also.

With you saying we're meeting on Saturday morning, does that mean we can still use the old venue, or is that only if we find a new venue? Also, I'd suggest looking at some libraries nearby, alot of them have larger rooms that can be reserved and used for things like this, without any cost to the person reserving them...may be a decent way to not only hold league but bring in new people that come in and notice us as well.

On February 27, 2010, The "Insanity Pokemon League" will have a "Playtest Tournament" for the upcoming "State Championships" in March. The "State Championships" are fast approaching and here is your chance to testplay that deck for free!!! MP birch will try to put together some prizes for our tournament. Or you may come and play for fun without entering the tournament.

We are looking forward to seeing you this Satuday at 9:00am-12:eek:opm.
