    Welcome to the scores of Iron Chef round 2.

    This was definitely a lot easier to score, it was also fun seeing some actually VERY competitive yet rogue decks come out.

    There you have it, great round and much easier for me in terms of scoring.
    If you are on the NO ENTRY list, please let me know if you did in fact actually turn your entry in. I actually lost a few PM's a couple of days ago, so if you did, please let me know and resubmit. If you didn't, please use the honor system. Thanks in advanced.

    Now, onto some news.

    Aside from what my prizes were, Pokegym staff have decided to throw in a few more prizes.
    Here they are;

    Winner - pair of limited edition black and white PokeGym dice.

    Top 2-8 - a green/gold Dragon type PokeGym dice.

    Woot, thanks again Pokegym(Team Compendium)

    Here is some other news;
    I am thinking about ending this and going into the Top 32. I feel that doing another round is sort of pointless, I think we can determine who made the cut and who didn't. So I want you, the players, opinion. Do you want to go straight into top cut? Or, would you like to see one more round and then do the top cut?

    I will leave this in your hands, I would love to do the Top Cut now, but if I can get 8 people to say, "lets do 1 more round", then we will do one more round of swiss.

    If there are any errors with numbers not adding up or something of that nature, please let me know. I am human and can make mistakes.

    Enjoy!

    Not that it really matters as the scores stay the same regardless, but didn't redwater score higher than me, meaning his entry for pod three should have been featured?

    Well, I certainly would not mind going into Top Cut right now.

    Cabd, the 17 is a typos, he got the same score as you.

    We only have 36 players by my count (9+10+8+9)

    Calling top 32 an actual top cut is silly IMO.

    If you go to topcut now, a T16 is ideal. That means the entire upper half cuts.

    If you run another round of swiss, that's fine too, but either way T32 is not really much of a topcut at all.

    I promised a Top 32, you also got to think like a real tournament. No one complained about a top 32 earlier, we had quite a bit of players. We then started and pretty much everyone had to drop because people were busy. I did contemplate going to a Top 16 cut, but I would then do one more round of swiss. I really would rather do a top 32.

    If it becomes a Top 16 I will be quite upset. I have been gearing my deckbuilding to simply assure that I have a position in the Top 32. I never try to go for the top score early as I don't want to peak and I know which part of the bracket I prefer to go through. =/

    Im fine for top 32 now. The score wont change much if they are anything like the last 2 rounds so another round would seem pointless. Either way I'm fine with what everyone else chooses.

    ok How will T32 work just like 1v1 or all 32 together. also do we get graded or do we play? I have never been in Top 32 before (only second year to do this)

    I'd say go to Top 32. I mean, the ones that aren't in their respective Top 8 will say go for another round of swiss anyway and they already had their chances in my opinion. However,, it's your call. Just thought I'd give you my opinion.

    Aaah come on... Same score as the winner of my pod, but lost on "tie-break". Oh well highest creative score of my pod :D

    Oh well. I don't know how many rounds of swiss that was the plan from the beginning, but if there were some number given, then we should stick to it. Its always annoying to changes things in the middle of the tournament.
    Same goes for top 32.

    I'll fully admit this. I had seen the deck I built before. At Cities. Where I believe it went 4-3 on the day, and could have gone 5-2 if not for a couple of misplays. Raticate / Amoonguss could have been competitive in the previous format. Raticate / HTL WILL be competitive. I'm just waiting for ppl to come across this deck and rampage the metagame. BTW, not having Catcher was a HUGE detriment to the deck. It's a deck that relies upon KOing the correct Pokemon at the correct time, and I couldn't fit in a Ninetales to get that done.

    As far as Aggron, I basically agreed that it was a 50/50 matchup. The deck has either 8 or 9 turns to get 5 or 6 KOs, depending on whether the opponent is dumb enough to push the Darkrai, and how quickly I can get Aggron material out of play. While Raticate isn't exactly slow, it isn't exactly fast either. I put in Beach cuz I had no way of attacking turn 1 anyway, so that kinda helps...
