From memory, I wrote about 3-4 paragraphs on the strategy. If that was unnecessary, well...I guess I wasted 5 minutes of my life. ^^;;

Patriarch, if someone's entry is 3 times the allowed limit, do you want us to PM each part to you or just send the whole thing to you in another form?

Dang dude! LOL

I only did a brief summary on each section (IE: Pokemon, Trainers, and Energy ) explaining why I chose certain cards for the decklist I made etc etc.

lol you should have seen the original document where I went in and reviewed the card and pretty much explained how I made the deck word for word. That was over 10 times the allowed limit.

Any answer Patriarch?

lol ya'll did all that well looks like im a slacker when it comes to that. mine was about a 1 paragraph synopsis of the strategy with the assumption patriarch can figure out the rest of himself since he's such a smart player:biggrin:

Do we have to explain our card use? As in each card, and the amount, or are certain things sort of self explanitory? In other words, do we need to write a book on our deck, or just a paragraph? I realize it's a little late for my entry now, but perhaps for next time.

For this contest, I described anything I felt was nessairsairy to discribe, aswell as a bit of humor to keep kettler awake. :thumb:

I think I had a good 4-5 Para's

Mine was 2 PMs long. Dear lord, it was 3 pages in Word. I didn't know that I could be that longwinded. Then again, explaining every single card in a particular deck is just a step before InSaNiTy.

doesnt anybody think its a lil redundant to go into excruciating detail (i kno i spelled that wrong) explaining each card and what it does so its three pages long. Remember who the reader and judge is kettler does kno a lil something about pokemon and can figure out the deck in itself. Sure you mite have to explain certain deck choices but theres really no need to explaining I used copycat or stevens and explain its your drawin engine and go into detail about that. you're not tryin to explain your deck to a 5-yr old. Or what im sayin can bite me in the butt and that is exactly what he wants readin basically almost 100 essays of decks.

I can't be bothered to send my list. I could build a good deck with any of the others, but not with Wobbuffet.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

And i noticed there is 2 of me in the group, does that mean i would have had to send 2 lists?!

I sent mine in last night, but since it was late, I forgot to post until now.

Do you have any idea when we'll see the results?

We should receive the results in the next few days or so, but that will vary depending on how difficult some are to grade and how long they are  .

Mine was the list+ 3 paragraphs (1 for each pokemon, trainers, and energy.)

Same here...I thought of just having 1 big paragraph...but would have been too confusing. Hopefully my deck fares well against the opposition. :)

I just sent it, can ya receive it John?

(I thought it was on or before Feb 26 lol so I just draft this in 30 mins after I saw it's BEFORE 26.)
