Maybe NASCAR should be considered a martial art instead of a sport?
 
What are you trying to accomplish here taylor? You haven't brought up anything constructive into this thread besides bashing it. I think everyone has there own view already on Nascar and this thread isn't gonna change anyones views.

Nascar is a total waste of resources.
Wasting so much so they can turn left a couple hundred times.
what a JOKE.
 
I do believe that it is a sport, based on two factors. #1, they get paid and have big sponsers(like how Coors sponsers football and baseball, for example). #2, there is a huge chance of being hurt, sometimes mortally(Dale Earnheart(don't know if spelled correctly), which could happen in every sport. Oh, and FYI, this is the most watched sport in the US, last I checked. Also, I don't watch it.
 
Yes I agree it is a bad use of our depleting resources I wish they could switch to ethanol like IRL and other series but I'm sure they will realise soon enough that they have to stop racing or go to alternate sources of fuel.

Whether its a sport or not it's still watched by millions of people and is entertainment.
 
Nascar is an endurance sport, like marathon running, cross country skiing, distance swimming, and the like.

Dressage is the sport which I don't even consider a darn sport, and it's in the olympics too!
