I played my second BR yesterday and the day before i figured out that i wantet to play something new (dont know if this is new in other countries, but here in Norway its new) And i have been thinking about making a deck thats really quick. And i sat down before my BR and came together with this deck that got me 2. place in master.
So here is my list, feel free to give me hints and ideas

Pokes: 20

3-3 Blissey
3-1-3 Luxray
2-2 Claydol
1 x rayquaza
1 x chatot
1 x rootom

Trainers: 25

4x Rare Candy
4x Felicity`s
4x Bebe`s
3x Roseanne`s
2x Buck`s Training
2x PlusPower
2x NM
2x Lake Boundary
2x Pokeradar

Energy: 15

4x :fire:
11x :lightning

Strategy:

So here is the thing, both blissey and Luxray sets up pretty quick so i buildt this deck up around the speed factor. And because decks like AMU, Kingdra and Froslass/Bronzong is played a lot here in norway, i wanted a deck that can coutner those but at the same time not get outspeeded by them.
And any of the pokes i use is ok to start with, exept rayquaza (startet with thisd once and thats allmost an auto loss) But the ideal start is chansey or shinx because usually ill then get up blissey or luxray t2. And both theese pokes helps each other in one way or another, cus if u start with luxray u discard energy so that blissey can use it when it gets active, and if u start with blissey i will use Felicity`s to discard energy to pick up, then when blissey gets ko`ed i can pick up energy with luxrays plasma attack.
So over to the other pokes, i use chatot cus he has no retreat and cus he has an decent 1. attack so that i can refres my hand if i have a bad hand. Dont think i need to explain claydol
Rootom is pretty nce if u have an blissey or luxray benched that needs energy, cus with this deck you allways have energy in discardpile. Rayquaza is flippy but kind a cool, and i use it for the suprise factor and because he can ohko allmost everything.

Stuff im currently testing out:

As u probably noticed i dont play any switch or warppoint.....And thats because i actually dont need it cus many of my pokes has free retreat. But i really missed it when i started with my Ray yesterday, cus he has :colorless:colorless:colorlessin retreat and thats bad. But i have taken out 2 pokeradars for 1switch and 1 warppoint to test it out. I am altso thinking about maby use one torkoal (la) as a tech, but i really dont know if that would help me that much.

Matchups:

I have only played this deck in one BR, and haven`t playtested it before that, som the matchups ar the games i played yesterday:
EmpoZong: Was pretty easy cus he had weakness, and cus i outspeeded him with t2 Luxray.
Vileplume/Bellossom:This guy didn`t got a good list, and never got the flow in this deck. He got 1 prize i got 6.
Leafeon/Glaceon:This was a harder match, but my opponent played Lv.X in this deck som i really got use of my luxray. Harder than the other matches, but not that hard.
Kingdra w/pixies:Khanh the 2.place winner at worlds played this deck. And i totally lost to this deck. I altso meet Khanh in the finals and then i got it a little better but lost 1-2 to this deck then.

Im rather happy with the deck as it is now, BUT if some one has any ideas to improve this deck, pleace post them, and ill trie them out :thumb:

There was a dude who COMBINED Kingra + Pixies ?????????????

wow...

Anyway...

I, absolutely, LOVE your idea of combining Luxray w/ Blissey! I never saw that synergy before!

I read what you said about free retreat, but don't understand what happens when they warp a naked Chansey up.
Also, when you want to damage w/o retaliation and you can't warp up for hit and stall what happens?

Either way, I like your ideas. Raquazza as a hat trick tech is SWEET here too.

Can't offer fixes as I haven't tested your list yet. But, it WILL be tested. Because... I like the combos in this list!

red face paint: Yeah i liked that combo too, and it works really nice. About the warp thingy...everytime someone warped me i had stuf on my hand that i could use to do damage (if they warped chansey, i had blissey, energy and a plusspower/buck etc on my hand) But as i wrote in the first post i have added switch/warp to the deck and it works great. So ill keep them ther just in case i get in any sticky situations :)

Khanh: The matches were great and your Kingdra deck is really good, love the idea with pixies in it :)

TravishReppinUtha: i dont NEED call, the deck sets up fast enoguh as it is. And if u read the first post i made this deck to beat Kingdra so offcourse i need lake boundary. And even if i dont need it to abuse weakness, ill use it as a counter stadium.

I agree. My wife runs blissey/leafeon... call is not needed.. .

In fact, she took out all the BeBe's and ran Dusk balls and Happini ...
Sounds INSANE but .. Happini + Chansey = same turn evolve + next turn Blissey = a big pink T2 Claydol that fights!

I'm gonna switch out the leafeonx and try the deck w/ Luxray/Raquazza and see what happens.

I'm looking at the supporter line and I'm wondering how you were able to get through the deck.
It's REALLY supporter heavy and not many trainers in there...

4x Felicity`s - 4 turns
4x Bebe`s - 4 turns
3x Roseanne`s - 3 turns
2x Buck`s Training - 2 turns

= 13 turns to use all supporters

2x PlusPower - no search
2x NM - no search
2x Lake Boundary - no search
4x Rare Candy - no search

ONLY trainer search = 2x Pokeradar

I'm thinking THIS is why you couldn't beat the Kingdra. Build within turn needed more support i.e. Dusk Ball, Quick Ball, Pokedex, More Pokeradar or even energy restore!

I see your point, but the thing is that i really didn`t need any trainer search, because i got the stuff i needed with my supporters. I actually didnt need to use pokeradar to get pokes one time during the tournament. And thats due to the 4 candies i use, i actually only need 2-3 candies in the deck to get fast setup. But with 4 i usually had luxray or blissey and a claydol up by t2-t3. And then i can put supporters/ other stuff i didnt need at the bottom of my deck with claydol. And then i used buck`s or Felicity`s if i needed. And the Kingdra match was hard, but i think (not 100% sure) it was one fatal missplay i did that lost me that match. And that was that i had a shinx and a chansey benched, i had an allmost dead luxray active. And then stupidly i attatch an energy to my benched shinx so i could draw more cards with Claydol, and i top decked a blissey. if i had waitet with that energy i could retreated luxray and put my blissey active because she can take some blows from kingdra without getting ko`ed. Id love to hear the outcome of ur deck when u have tested it

Pixies=Evil Incarnate

I think you should use Happiny instead of Claydol. It saves deck space, seeing as you're already running Blissey. I ran a deck like this at a BR, and Kind Egg worked really well for me. I ran it with the Eeveelutions though, so I really didn't have room to spare

I have tried the deck out with Happiny, but it looses a lot of speed then. And the thing is im not allways adding a lot of energy to blissey (depending on set up offcourse) But the main problem is that i get sey up faster when i run claydols, dunno why, but thats how it is. But thanks for the idea :thumb:

King Egg doesn't allow you to draw any extra cards, so it's much worse than Claydol's Cosmic Power. Having a single Happiny in the deck could help if your hand seems to get clogged up with lots of unwanted cards, but overall it's not all that useful.
