Sharif do you come in Italy?
Actually there are no tournament.
In April we will run Holon Phantom prerelease and Regional Northern Italy.
Some local tournament is running in Milano and Treviso in local League.
As I said to you via MP, in June there'll be our great event, "Pokémon Day", with TONS of sanctioned tournaments, GBA tournaments, mixed challenges, and so on... I just got back today from a meeting for this event, and I swear that this year, that's more Poké-fun than ever here in Europe
And, just a side note, but we don't run "unofficial tournaments". The difference is between Premier events and regular tournaments. At the Pokémon Day, the only Premier event is Nationals (that is closed to non-residents), though we'll run many many regular, sanctioned tournaments.
Nothing unofficial.

If you want more Poke-fun than ever in Europe, you should run a Gym :thumb:
You have everything to make a great Gym ... a Pokemon day, a nice country (with excellent food and wine, even if it's not essential), excellent flight and train connections, great TO's and judges, ... and an perfect OP Manager
Michel,
I would be happy to run a Gym... If only we had money for the additional trips... ç_ç
Sharif: FAQs for Nationals aren't out at the time being, but it is mandatory from PUI. Sad thing, I know...
But, again, there'll be a lot of other events of any type (even weird things!) and a lot of prizes to earn!
It's a great opportunity for the new company in charge of POP in Italy to show their dedication to the game and make a big marketing effect
Talking about money, it's quite funny to see that Pokemon boosters are more expensive in Europe than in the USA and that US players get far more trips, scholarship and other prizes than European players.
But what are they doing at the EEC headquarters in Strasburg or Brussels ? Is it that the power of the EEC ?

Marcello, I'm not the most interested party in this.
I read and point on things.
Regarding Regional I trust on the information MvdV is giving and I do absolute believe LD's can decide to open/close events.
It's complete in line with the policy of the last years.
