He's still goin? I thought after cursegar he was done with that...
He made a thread about Hydreigon a while back, where most of the replies were talking about how it was too slow to work. A few days later, Hydreigon/Darkrai won a Japanese tournament...

Well if you make so many attempts you'll get it right sooner or later.

You read Japanese? If not, it wouldn't help you.

You want 10+ links? Not practical.

10+ links is plenty practical. Let's get this information out there. Information NEVER hurts a community, and helping people in your community become better players helps you become a better player.

why would you even post this? none of those decks are any surprise, and I honestly doubt whatever you're withholding is some huge revelation that nobody else has thought of. overrall you come off as a bratty teenage girl with an undeserving ego.

Nobody predicts anything. TCGi dictates what we use. That's like crediting somebody for using Darkrai and Hydreigon in the same deck.

To add to the list:

Charizard/Mewtwo/Garbodor/Lunatone (with Ether and Pokedex)
Accelgor/Dusknoir
Tornadus EX/Terrakion Ether Donk Deck
Vilebox (Landorus EX, Virizion, Basculin, and pluspowers)
Exploud Round

Please don't ask me for any lists or anything, otherwise ill take this down.

Japanese metagame is...but oh please dont ask for links or deck lists. That would take much to much effort. Why did i just flash back to junior high?

I love the fact that all of these decks that are posted have completely different strategies.

Something tells me that the ones that are not listed are the ones that are not good anymore, such as Garchomp/Altaria, Empoleon, Gothitelle/Accelgor, etc.

This is really sad. Magic and wow tcg both highlight winning decks around the world because people buy more product in doing so. How can you hinder the game as pro players just for your own selfish gain. That's like showing a dying man the holy grail than laugh as you walk away. If you were an actual good member of the Pokemon community than you would do as much as you could for it. Not say hey you guys are lazy so heres a list of decks with no lists or links because im too lazy to do it myself. If you found the actual lists than the least you could do is show us links. Everyone has google chrome so in turn someone else would have done proper translations. Than..... BAM you have community members working together making the community stronger.

No one is going to gift you lists for these decks, especially with cities being one of the most important stretches of the season.

No one is going to be giving away their deck list with the engine that powers the Charizard deck consistently. No one is going to give away every last tech attacker in the Vileplume deck.

This game isn't that hard. You've been given the strong combinations that are doing well in Japan. Is it really that hard to come up with some kind of list based on the gifts of the deck ideas you've already been given?

For those who want japanese decklists, here's a tip:
You can google 【デッキレシピ】 + the japanese name of a Pokémon from the deck you're looking for (e.g. Hydreigon, Eelektrik, Garchomp, etc.). (You can find a Pokémon's japanese name on Bulbapedia for example).
This gives lots of decklists in japanese blogs, though obviously you'll need a translator to read them. It's not a perfect method to get the best decks, since you don't know whether the lists you find had success, whether they're popular, etc. You can try to read comments and all but once again, it's in japanese.
Still, I found this to be quite useful to get an idea of Japanese decks.
To give credit where credit's due, this tip comes from an anonymous comment on an article from The Deck Out.

So true.. if there's one thing I hate about the way Pokemon is organized is that everything is kept secret. The problem is that nothing is ever really secret. A couple of people who can read Japanese, or have a Japanese contact will be the ones that reap the rewards. So instead of having everyone have perfect information about the metagame and compete on equal grounds and knowledge, it's reserved for a couple of people who happen to know the right people or have gotten a glimpse of something no one else has.

Now that's what I call a healthy game.

I'm sure with your secret Japanese info you've just been dominating BRs right? So how many have you won?

I really hate it when people are always asking for Japanese deck lists because its like do your own work and test the meta.

You know what I hate more though? Is when scrub players come on here and think there so much better than everybody else because they have some supposed "inside source." If you have such great information than why are you never winning tournaments? Why are you never getting consistent Worlds invites? If you have such a great inside source, than cool, shut up about it and use it...nobody else cares.

Its never the guys who talk the most I worry about...its the guys who talk the least.

This <3 This whole thread is just showing off seriously, and people arent bad because they look for decklists, I love looking at other peoples decklist to get inspired / get some new ideas / understand different playstyles, just because you look for decklists doesnt mean you cant build your own lol.

All I see here is "look at me im so cool I have some inside information and you guys are all bad because you want it", if that even makes sence. If you dont want to share your sources, dont post lol

talkig about inside information.. i would've never figured out that keldeo works best with blastoise without this thread.

thanks, really

(?)

If people research their own info, they are perfectly entitled to keep it private or share it as they wish.

It's a bit petty and unpleasant when the whole point of their post seems to be to show off about it but, ehhhh . . . that's what some people are like. You get used to it.

I'm tired of people posting threads trying to "netdeck" the Japanese metagame. I'll post a list of the metagame decks, but if I see one post on this thread or get 1 PM asking for lists, where i got the information, or just plain bothering me about it I'll take the list down. I'm sick and tired of this lazy community that wants to do well, but won't even take the initiative to test and find out whats good. :nonono:

you're welcome.

Honestly? You've got a lot to learn son. The world doesn't exactly work like that. I get it, you're 15 years old, and you have some information that other people want. But what do you think you're doing? You're not really helping anyone with your snotty attitude and short list of decks (most of which we already know).

If you want to truly help the community, at least give a little insight to the players and decks doing well, what has good matchups, and what is actually placing in what spots. Heck, most of us even just want to know exactly how their tournament and invite structure works.

But otherwise? Take your super secret information somewhere else. We'll either move on and find our own decks, or someone with a little more class will give us the information we desire.
