Just wondering how much is each of the japanese neo intro cards worth?
the ones with chikorita/totodile symbols on them, kinda like the bulbasaur/squirtle decks.

Thanks

Hey crazy, I tried responding to your pm but it said your box was full so it would not accept my message.

But it depends from buyer to buyer. The neo intro pack does not appear as often as the base one. I bought mine for 35 pounds.

Yes. Both decks. £30.

Who's willing to buy one at a time? Aren't you going to be a few cards noone will want, like the ernergies?

I dont have energy cards just the characters.
I paid alot for mine so i have to disagree on these price quotes.
No way these cards are that price.
I bought mine from prguitttarman and he had vey high offers for each card but i bought them as a bulk to save money.
I still paid alot for them.

Yeah you got ripped off :frown: :nonono: I am surprised prguitarman would sell them to you individually. I mean unless you paid a couple dollars per card, the packs are usually no more than $50ish.

Looks like its time for you to sell off one of your uncut sheets to regain that loss, mr crazypokemon.

I think it was 20 cards, total, i think he charged me $160 or something, but he showed me how on community journal or osmething like that people were offering 20 or 30 per card.
I dident buy each card individiually i bough them together. in one shot.

He said it was a discount because if he sold them off one by one he would have made alot more money.

I got mine from brianjapan.. Found it on y!j for the roughly $15 and worked out a deal where he peoxy bought it for me. That was the chikorita/totodile set. The bulbasaur/squirtle one was like $30 for the sealed pack off ebay.

Wow, money brings out the worst in people :frown: The deck is rare but you should not of had to pay that much, I can'y believe he would scam you like that.

I think it is that if the people knew that you can get a pack for $30-60 with all the cards they would not make those offers. Just unethical as a seller.

but i seen on his site people were offering $20-30 per card
So did i witness a fake site?/ scammed site?

I know the site you are talking about...

It isn't a fake site or a scamming site...
Of course you got a really bad end of a deal... Sure people would offer 20-30 per card, but that is only people there as they kind of /don't/ know card values and they collect "lines" My friend on that website paid $10 for a Marill from the neo intro set because she collects the Marill line. If you really wanted to make your money back, try on that site? Here everyone collects and researches cards before purchases... I know this sounds foolish but that probably is the only way to get your money...

Good luck getting that money back :thumb:

Exactly :thumb:

If I ever found a whole set for that price, I'm jumping on it
The seller usually seemed fair with his prices when I saw it though? Maybe they all were just mixed up with the flow of people trying to grab cards for $20... But I agree, if they knew the whole set can be bought for 30-60, I think they would think differently about their offers :)

You see people on ebay paying $50 for a Worlds deck Luxray Level X.
That doesn't make it worth anything close to that, when you can easily get the entire deck for $12.

i'm pretty sure i know what livejournal community is being referenced, too.

just like any site, including the 'gym...one must have a history with that site before being allowed to sell there. don't count on going to a new community just to make your money 'back'...

You do know what community is being referenced. And yeah, you need a history of good posts and comments in order to get sales permission. I've been on there for a couple of years and still don't have permission.

And it is true that a some people on there will pay more than a cards value if they collect that particular Pokemon. However, on there, you will also find some people who don't value cards at all, and disregarding them completely in favour of other merch.
