I've got a handful of each of these decks. None of them are sealed (I know they came in the big intro kit, but whether the individual decks inside were sealed or not, I do not know.), but the cards inside are in perfect condition, and include the little plastic wrapper thing that goes around the center of them to keep them together.

The condition of the boxes is so-so. Some of the boxes I have are in better condition that the ones in the picture -- I just grabbed a pair for a quick picture.

Any idea on value? I've seen a few of the sealed intro sets up for ~$100 on eBay, but I figure the individual decks take a big hit.

Gathering Ground was selling these for a fair bundle at Nationals, I believe. I'd say they're worth around $50~ or so unopened, but I can't really give a definitive answer.

Wow, so many PMs with people wanting to buy these. x_X

Anyways, if you guys had to place a value on the individual decks (or a red+green pair), what would you say?

PRguitarman, thank you SO much for those unboxing pictures! Great (for me) to see that the individual decks were not sealed within the sealed set. I feel so much better now! :D

No problem! I absolutely love the vending series in general and love sharing information about to the best of my knowledge.

As far as pricing goes, I'd personally say $50-70 for each deck, which is still a great deal since the decks have 30 cards, which equals to about less than $2 a card(although some cards in these sets sell for much more than $2 when sold as singles). This is based on my opinion of sealed/open values since the entire box sealed is currently selling for $150.

Wow! I've got 5 of each, so that would make the whole bunch worth a pretty penny.

I bought them from a seller in Alaska on eBay a number of years back for $5 each. $50 for 10 decks total... love it! I saw someone else snagged a single red deck from him, but that's all I saw.

Thanks for the estimate. :) And, yeah, I too love the vending cards, and the holo versions of the birds/Scyther/Master Ball look absolutely stunning, so you get the best of the best with these. :thumb:
