Gallade is one of my favorite Pokemon. This one can work with any Energy accel and only requires a DCE to attack for insane amounts of damage. Maybe not as good as Mewtwo but it's a great alternative if your not the conventional type.

I also like bullados's idea of Victini EX in Ray-Eels. In any Eels for that matter. A straightforward T1 Energy accel is nothing to scoff at.
 
Note: Below is a quote from another thread. This is not me bringing up some debate with chrataxe, but taking advantage of him echoing a common sentiment about a card to set-up a point.

My side comment about Hooligans - Jim and Cas no longer applies due to Magnezone (Plasma). I can't imagine a dual Stage 2 deck between the two functioning, but if I can find any back up draw power, imagine a deck that can set-up ASAP due to double Supporters and then starts dropping double Hooligans.
 
weezing looks pretty good for a 100hp stage1
20 spread for 2 and mill yourself if you kill it
magnezone good as other have said
rotom... alternate starter/replacement for thunderus with its first attack and we have a high trainer (should that be item?) count in this format for his second attack

lucario and the new klinklang could be interesting as well with the ex protection from klinklang and attack similiar to shaymin ex revenge blast

Any way how about a discard disruption deck with Accelgor, Magnezone, and Rotom. Use Rotom to get an early lead. Use stuff like Tool Scrapper, Hooligans, Enhanced Hammer, N, etc. to cripple their hand. Add Virbank Gym and there you go.

Garbodor from the Half Deck is also good.

I mean, the new type is great and all, but it's not like there's that many dragons. This is kind of like the dark type (and steel too) in the neo 1-4 sets.

Magnezone/Stoutland FBCF/Hooligans/Hugh/Hammers maybe? Stop Supporters via stoutland while sucking their hand dry with a hugh/hooligan combo or double hooligans, and limit their field with heavy hammer lines. As long as you set up quickly, there isn't much they can do. As long as you don't stall yourself out or burn through the deck too fast, might it work?

Could White Kyurem-EX/Victini-EX/Victini be playable? turn 2 200 (150 without Skyla). You could then use its first attack to deal 110 and attach from discard (victory Star), then 200 again the next turn. Maybe?? Just trying to make this work here guys :p .

I love both those ideas. But you might wanna wait until the normal Black and White Kyurem are fully revealed. The ones from Boundaries Crossed... Not that it isn't a good idea. I'm just saiyan.
 
We could possibly see a new "GardevoirGallade" deck since the two really seem to complement each other. Gardevoir doubles energy, and Gallade does damage times the amount of energy. Just need to find a way to accelerate Psychic...

Well there is Ether, but it needs help from Lunatone or Pokedex to be effective. It's worth mentioning though.

This format has something that the Gardevoir/Gallade format never "truly" had: a decent counter.

i thought toxicroak+scizor was a better counter vs G&G. it wasnt bad vs other decks was it?
