Plasma Frigate + Mewtwo-EX will soon be a scary reality. With no weakness, now we'll need Enhanced Hammer/Mach Cut and/or another stadium before engaging in a Mewtwo war. How interesting. Perhaps Enhanced Hammer is exceeding Crushing Hammer in terms of usefulness which is odd as EH is such a situational card. Plasma Energy is turning out to be a very interesting mechanic.

If only The Truth were still a *thing*, then Beheeyem would be a really, really fun card.

Plasma Frigate would scare me, if Plasma Energy weren't a Special Energy, and if Enhanced Hammer didn't exist.
 
Plasma Frigate looks pretty good. Counter-Stadiums will suddenly become very popular (e. g. Skyarrow Bridge in Basic-heavy decks, Virbank City in Accelgor decks, etc.).

I understand that. My musing was more along the lines of making it easier or more consistent to get said energy onto said Goth.

On the previous topic of alternate art / full art as the chase main rares, they should do all character Supporters as FA. If Pixiv and Deviant Art are any indication, Full Art Skyla and Elesa would have boxes fly off shelves and I NEED Skyla for Unlimited 150.

On actual thread topic, Ghetsis is confirmed for the Plasma box set, I imagine he'll be in the main set as well. I think he's a big enough character to get a full art which will be awesome for my friends Hydreigon deck :p

Frigate is easier to counter than stuff like Weakness Guard or Bubble Coat. You've got Enhanced Hammer, Crushing Hammer, and a multitude of Stadiums. And Goth can't stop Stadiums from being played.

It's a good card. It's not a format-defining card.
 
not gonna lie that plasma frigate stadium just continues to make me think plasma will be broked..makes lugia look a lot more playable though...
also full art skyla + full art elesa in same set i think i only buy them as singles and then maybe get boxes omg.. also we still need fa juniper right?
 
Wait, are we seriously still talking about this?

I mean, come on, we'd ALL like FA Flannery, Elesa, Skyla, Winona might be nice, Cynthia, etc, etc - - - but that's so far beside the point...

What about Ghetsis and Alder?? They deserve attention, too!
 
Infernape is a big highlight to me. I already made up a theorymon for it. I know it's too early but...

And they need to translate Articuno EX already!

If they have Shiny Items and Pokemon, Full Art Pokemon and Supporters, and Energy has variants already...

Who's up for a Full Art Plasma Frigate, played sideways for a landscape view?
 
I hope the Plasma stadium isn't changed to only working on Plasma pokemon. It'd be nice, for a change, to see a themed Pokemon line actually help out other non-themed cards. Not horde all the benefits themselves.
