Disagree personally. The community at large already couldn't care less about Seniors and Juniors. This just adds one more division that nobody will pay attention to with abysmal attendance numbers due to the smaller size and wrong age group. Not to mention how much it would take from the prize budget. I'd rather they increased the size of Seniors and Juniors a little but that's a subject for another thread.

I personally think this is quite rude to seniors. Juniors are all over the place but seniors have a format just as built up as masters but with a bit less skill.

Seniors results will never be as accepted as Masters for very good reasons. The general stereotype toward them is also fairly valid in most cases, unfortunately.

Anyway, it's good to see that some anti-meta is viable, at least hypothetically.

I've updated the 1st post with the remaining Top 4 for A-League Nagoya, deck lists from several Nagoya players that shared their lists, and the results from the two day event in Chiba.

Thanks for the updates, RestlessBob, I love seeing what is going on in Japan.

The change in the meta over these tournaments is interesting, especially the rise of counter meta, and more recently the Tool-heavy Sigilyph deck.

@Raen: Your welcome! For the past few months, the meta in Japan can change quite a bit when a lot of the anti meta decks shown up which can make for some interesting deck ideas that are being tried out.

@Angry_Brother: That was a mistake on my end. I've updated the first post to reflect the changes and updates PCGN reported.

Also, with the top 4 information for the O-League I decided to reference the cards that have been rotated in our format by link. This way it is easier to see what the cards are and what they do. I've also included the cards with points the choose for their decks thanks to PCGN.

I'd love to see those darkrai lists. That's what I ran and did okay but I feel like it just wasn't tight enough of a build to take this insane tournament structure.

2Rogan am I right that You charge Genosect by attachments from hand or Virizion EX and without any other acceleration?

So the new Archetype decks are

In no particular order

1) Genesect ex/Virizion ex
2) Thunderus ex/Deoxys ex/Kyurem
3) Suicune (Safeguard)/Terrakion NVI
4) Darkrai/Absol
5) Weavile/Exeggcute
6) Gothitelle/Accelgor
7) Itembox
8) Rayeels
9) Landorus/Cobalion/Garbodor
10) Blastiose/Keldeo/Black Kyurem ex
11) Klinkklang/Cobalion ex

At least it gives us a little bit more of a variety to work with for our next format.

How did Hydreigon/Darkrai manage to topcut?

no way is Suicune/Terrakion a solid archetype. It just was a good anti-meta deck. It's def a rogue deck

You're allowed to switch decks for later rounds i believe.
