EDIT 8/26 - I didnt play for 3 years. I just found out that supporters are now considered different than trainers. this kinda makes this deck a little bit weaker. but still good. im still testing it out.

Pokemon: 12

3 - Kabuto
3 - Kabutops
2 - Beldum
1 - Metang
2 - Metagross
1 - Regirock
1 - Aerodactyl

Trainers: 30
3 - Dome Fossil
1 - Old Amber
3 - Rare Candy
2 - Fossil Excavator
1 - Night Maintanance
3 - TM-1 - Evolutor
2 - Energy Pickup
2 - Starks Mountain
4 - Bebes Search
3 - Felicitys Drawing
3 - Professor Rowan
3 - Team Galactics Wager
2 - Rossannes Research

Energy: 16
13 - Fighting
1 - Multi Energy
2 - Metal

basically, i'm always aiming for the turn 1 kabutops
if not, i will have it out turn 2. with another coming on my bench.
once i get a metagross or 2 out. i have aerodactyl to damage the claydols/anything with powers.

idk. its pretty self explanitory.

any thoughts at all on this deck?

If your going to make this deck work you have to make some changes:

4-Multi
10-fighting
4-special metal
2-basic metal
4-Rare Candy (A MUST!!! You have two stage twos so you really need to have these).
4-Rossannes
4-Bebe's
4-Proffessor Oak's Visit(In this deck you really want to keep cards in your deck)
4-TM-Evoluter's

There is more to be done, but this will really help with the set up. You have to many supporters and trainers, well, at least you have to many different things going on. I don't really thing you need the Aerodactyl. I would rather run straight Kabutops with a 1-0-1 line of Metagross, but that is just me. Then you could run the New Groudon for faster energy set up as well. Good Luck!

well im not really going to attack with metagross. and he only needs 1 metal energy.
so thats why i thought JUST INCASE i will play the 2 basic metal and a multi.

id rather have 2 metagross cause with 2 out on my bench, it gives me a much better chance of using the power every turn.

and as of now. i really like aerodactyl.
i might take him out later. we will see.

its just that when i get 2 kabutops metagross and aero out. this deck is pretty unstoppable.

My list:

4-3-4 Kabutops GE
2-2 Claydol GE
1 Chatot MD
1 Regirock LA
1-1 Aerodactyl GE
1-0-1 Metagross LA
1 Azelf LA

As you're aiming for T1 Kabutops (which can be achieved only max 50% of the time, as you can't use trainers on your first turn), max out the Dome Fossils (you will have to start with one) and Evoluters. Drop some of the supporters (Rowans, for example) for Claydols, as they provide constant flow of cards to your hand. I'd also add 4 Call Energy in, as it gives your Kabutops some possible activity while charging those three energies for it - and also provides some extra guardance from T1 donks from some other decks... I'm doing pretty fine with 14 energies (4 call, 2 multi, 8 fighting) as Regirock and Night Maintenance are giving those fighting energies back.

Other than that, the list looks good, wouldn't believe your absence of 3 years :)

why 4 call energy? There are only 3 cards to get with that in the original build and 5 in the one you set up. If you want some special energy then I would use health or something along those lines

i dont like call energy at all.
eh. armaldo isnt worth all the troubles.
idk about azelf either. id rather take my chances with a pokemon in my prizes than start off with a lone azelf.

and what do you guys think about rowan? i just think it is such a safe card to play.
i always find myself needing cards but i always want to hold onto one that is already in my hand.

if i could fit claydol in somehow. i might eventually.
i mean. benchwise. i want 1 kabutops, 2 metagross, and a regirock with 1 kabutops active.

this is a n00b question, but would pluspower add +10 to the 10 damage to the bench?
