Every player will receive: Pre-release Promo Card, Pre-release Player Pin, for registering....While Supplies Last

Format: Modified Limited
Rounds: Age Modified Swiss / 30-Minutes (# 0f Rounds To Be Determined by Attendance)

Each player will receive six packs of the "ex :Emerald" boosters to make a 40-card deck including energy. Basic energy cards will be provided. We will play a number of rounds of age-modified swiss. The number of rounds will be determined by attendance. Players play in each round. After completing the event the players receive the following prizes:

Prizes: Each Age Group (10-Under, 11-14, 15-over)

Winners of Each Age Group will receive a "Winner's Pre-release Pin".

All participants will receive after the completion of the tournament, Four Packs of "ex Emerald", and two POP Promo series-1 Packs...While Supplies Last

BOTTOM LINE: You get 10 packs of EX Emerald Boosters for your admission Fee!!!!!!!!

Theme Deck Challenge

Entry Fee: $20.00

Every player will receive: Pre-release Promo Card, Pre-release Player Pin (while supplies last)

THIS EVENT IS DESIGNED FOR NEW PLAYERS!!!!!

Each player will receive a "Theme Deck" and two "ex Emerald" booster packs. The players will play with their "Theme Decks" only. This is a non-sanctioned event. The level of play is for beginners and players parents hoping to learn the game or just to have fun..... Play is also very relaxed and informal. Players may help each other or ask for help while playing from the tournament staff. The number of rounds in the "Theme Deck Challenge" will be determined by the players in this tournament.

Prizes: Each Age Group (10-Under, 11-14, 15-Over)

After the tournament, players will receive Four Packs of "ex Emerald", and two POP Promo series-1 Packs...While Supplies Last)

Side Events:

SEALED PART 2: $2.00: Build a new 40 card deck out of the 10 packs you got for playing in the main tournament.

THEME DECK BATTLE: Cost TBD. Play with a new EMERALD theme deck, and see who handles it best, straight out of the box.

EMERALD BOOSTER DRAFT: cost TBD

We'd love to have you come over to Kennewick. It is only a 4 hour drive, instead of the 8 or so to Idaho. And for Deoxys there was only ONE 10 and under, who will be 11 before the Emerald Pre-Release! Of course that 10 year old won 10 of 11 games that day: 4 - 0 in the main tournament, 4 - 0 in the Sealed Part 2, and 2 and 1 in the Theme Deck Battle.

Of course it is only a 2 hour drive to Portland. I heard a rumor that their pre-release will be April 30 as well...
 
4 hours is closer then Idaho... 2 hours is closer then Kenewick... Eh I dunno I geuss it would kinda depend on who goes where. I do wanna go to your guyses though cause Zane will be there!
 
We will start registering players at 10. Registration will close when all players are registered. Last time we were all ready to start play at 10:45. Do you have a time conflict?

27. Heh, that's way more than I expected for this set. No offense intended, but this set isn't all that great. I don't expect to see anything good coming out of it. So I'm likely not going to be playing in lakewoods. Although I will attend.
 
You know, I first looked at Team Rocket and thought it wasn't that good. Boy was I wrong! I'm sure we will find some new, powerfull combinations.

Oh, and special thanks to the 5 players from Western Washington who drove over and made this tournament fun.
